How did you come up with the idea for your business?


It takes a lot more than an idea to build a business, but there can’t be a business without the idea. So we asked folks who’ve built wonderful businesses to tell us about how they came up with the idea in the first place.

It was a profound moment of realization. From the beginning, my purpose and passion have revolved around creating a better future for autistic and neurodiverse individuals. However, early in my career, I learned that not everyone shares this vision of compassion and development for these unique individuals. It was then that I made a firm decision: to create a safe place where autistic and neurodiverse children and young adults could receive the education and support they need. Its really been a 10 year process of understanding what I wanted to and how I wanted to do it. I made art and clothes for years since I was in school, I just always separated the two because the the industries they exist in. Read more>>

After becoming an energy worker and yoga teacher and working with so many people to MANAGE stress, I knew that there needed to be a better way to “teach” people about releasing emotions and giving them a practical way to do it. I had seen rage rooms popping up as a new popular activity, and I felt like it was an amazing activity and business idea! The first time I visited one to “research”, I left the session SOBBING in tears! So many feelings came up and out in a way they didn’t have a chance to before. I was sold and fully committed to bringing a rage room to the people and I dubbed it “A safe space to feel your feelings!” Mixed with my flavor of fun and inner child play and 90s nostalgia, I’ve created a space to really TAKE A BREAK from the real world and play, release, and feel better when you walk out the door.
