We had the good fortune of connecting with Addy and Terry Bibb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Addy and Terry, what is the most important factor behind your success?
We feel that the most important factor behind our success is the support that we have received online. Not only from our faithful subscriber base that continues to grow, but by the cruise and travel content creator community. We were welcomed immediately and have not felt discouraged in any way. Many of the content creators that we have had the pleasure to meet have given us great advice or encouragement to continue to provide the perspective that we do.

Our subscribers feel like an extension of our family as we have gotten to know quite a few of them from our weekly Live and from our group cruises. Their support is what gives us the encouragement to continue doing what we do and is the key to our success.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Our YouTube channel is a direct reflection of us. We are a fun-loving couple that loves to see the world and all that it has to offer. Addy is a chef and Terry is a bar consultant, so our channel gravitates to exploring those avenues when we travel and cruise. We love good food and craft cocktails!

Our channel is different from others because we are empty nesters but we are still young (or at least young at heart). So our adventures tend to take us off the beaten path and see parts of a city or port that most tourists would not see. Our travels have taken us to hidden speakeasy bars, seeing internationally known DJ’s in concert, and riding jeeps in the desert.

Our biggest challenge is that we both still work full-time jobs, aside from being full-time travel advisors and having the channel. This challenge is met with lots of time management and dividing up responsibilities between the two of us. This way we don’t burn out!

The one thing that we want the world to know about us is that we are fun-loving people that enjoy sharing our travels with the world. We remain true to that and try to maintain that sense of humility.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh, we have so many favorites in Miami! For breakfast, we are gonna stop at Big Pink for the massive pancakes and delicious coffee. Then we will take in some of the fabulous art and sights in the Wynwood District. We will probably eat lunch there too because there are so many good restaurants over there! Or we could have lunch in Little Havana at the Original Rio Cristal Restaurant for some authentic Cuban cuisine! You must try the flan. Then after some people watching on South Beach and Bayside, head over to the Brickell area for dinner at Mister O1 Pizza!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our children, Trystan, Karastyn, and Jailen, are the reason we are who we are and why we do what we do. We started cruising as a family as a way to show our children other parts of the world and to expose them to different cultures. As they grew older, they told us that we should start a YouTube channel to teach other people all that we know from our years and experience cruising and traveling.
