We had the good fortune of connecting with Alexis Guini and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alexis, how does your business help the community or world?
I don’t see Exito y Finanzas as a business. It is more like a hobby were I am looking to share my knowledge and the knowledge of the people that I interview on my podcast “Éxito y Finanzas Podcast¨ to the Latin community in the U.S and in Latin America. I want to increase the entrepreneurial spirit and the importance of personal finance in our community.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Éxito y Finanzas Podcast started as a personal project that I had been postponing for a couple of years. I am a Real Estate Agent, Investor and fan of personal finance and as such, I enjoy listening to podcast when I am driving or traveling. I’m a fan of a lot of podcasts in English but I noticed that there was just a small quantity of good content in Spanish. That’s why I decided to start my own podcast in Spanish were I interview Entrepreneurs and Personal Finance experts from all around the world that have a great story to tell and that will bring knowledge to the audience. It is not an easy process since the show is produced by myself and it takes a lot of time, but the gratification that I receive from the listeners makes me feel blessed and encourages me to continue.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If you are visiting our beautiful city for a week there a some key places that you should check out: Food: Miami has become a culinary city so there are a lot of great options such as: Novecento, Crudos Fusion, PM Fish & Steak House, Dr. Limón, Tacology. Places: Miami Beach, Key West, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, Malls (not my favorite but tourists love them), Microtheater Miami, Brickell nightlife, Baru/Tu Candela, Ball & Chain and a lot of new places in Little Havana. Miami has a lot of things and activities to offer.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my wife, mother, family and friends who always support all my new projects and adventures and are there with me to help me grow as a human being.
