We had the good fortune of connecting with Amber Krystal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amber, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important lesson my career has taught me is the power of kindness and the necessity of maintaining a spirit of humility. Over the years — through the highs of interviews, television appearances, magazine covers, films, authoring books, along being featured in major national and international media outlets and leading a ministry, to the valleys of betrayal, trauma, and personal loss —I’ve learned that titles and achievements mean very little if your character doesn’t match your platform.
In every room I’ve stepped into, whether in ministry or the marketplace, it was never about chasing accolades but about leaving a lasting, authentic impression of love, integrity, and grace. People may forget your titles, but they will never forget how you made them feel. I truly believe that success without healing, wholeness, and maturity is incomplete. That’s why my mission has always been to not just look the part externally but to live healed, whole, and mature internally. This is the foundation that sustains real influence and opens doors that accolades alone cannot.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work is rooted in the belief that healing, wholeness, and maturity are non-negotiable if you truly want to live a fulfilled, impactful life — whether you’re standing in the pulpit, the boardroom, on set, or behind the scenes. What sets me apart is that I don’t just talk about success, beauty, or purpose from a surface level — I live it from the inside out. I’m proud that my career has allowed me to merge ministry and the marketplace in a way that reaches people both naturally and spiritually.

I’ve been a guest on TV interviews and podcasts, featured in magazines, acted in films, and spoken on TEDx stages — but what excites me the most is seeing lives transformed through the message God placed in me. I remind people that it’s not about the platform; it’s about the posture of your heart.

Getting to where I am today was anything but easy. I’ve survived betrayal, trauma, abuse, financial hardship, and one of the most difficult transitions of my life, having to abruptly leave where I was living without a safety net. I’ve faced rejection in rooms I prayed to be in and fought battles no one saw. But through it all, my faith anchored me.

I overcame challenges by choosing to stay kind, humble, and obedient. I learned to trust God’s timing over my own. I refused to allow bitterness or brokenness to harden me. I invested in my healing so that I wouldn’t bleed on people I was called to bless.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to town, here’s how we’d do it — because I believe life should be celebrated in moments both big and small. I’m all about experiences that nurture the soul, the spirit, and a little retail therapy too!
Day 1:
We’d kick things off with brunch at The House of Mac — because who doesn’t need good food and good vibes to start a trip? Afterwards, a visit to Wynwood Walls to soak in art, color, and creativity. That evening, dinner at Prime 112 for an elevated dining experience and people-watching.
Day 2:
A little luxury retail therapy at Bal Harbour Shops followed by relaxing on South Beach with a sparkling water in hand. That night, catch a play or live show at the Adrienne Arsht Center — I’m a sucker for live theater and a good storyline.
Day 3:
We’d do a wellness day: massages, facials, and detox smoothies at The Standard Spa. Then sunset dinner at Rusty Pelican with views that remind you how beautiful life is.
Day 4:
I’d plan a “trip within a trip” — a quick getaway to the Florida Keys for a day or overnight. Gorgeous water, fresh seafood, and serene vibes. It’s healing in itself.
Day 5:
Back in town for a little boutique shopping in Coconut Grove and a visit to Vizcaya Museum & Gardens — the perfect IG-worthy moment mixed with history and beauty.
Day 6:
Catch a matinee movie or an indie film at O Cinema in Wynwood, then end the day with tapas and music at Ball & Chain in Little Havana.
Day 7:
A farewell brunch at Greenstreet Café, then a leisurely stroll along Bayside Marketplace or Brickell City Centre before heading to the airport.
The beauty of Miami is it’s vibrant, cultured, and soulful — much like myself. I’d make sure this week was filled with laughter, deep conversations, self-care moments, a few surprises, and connections that feed both the heart and spirit.
Because for me, whether it’s in ministry, marketplace, or personal life — I believe in living a life that feels good on the inside, not just looks good on the outside.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, I have to give honor and recognition to my Lord and Savior. My faith means everything to me. It’s not just a part of my life — it is my life. My faith has literally made me whole. It has carried me through seasons of suffering, betrayal, trauma, and brokenness and has been the foundation that has kept me grounded as God elevated me in ministry and the marketplace.

I made a promise to God a long time ago that no matter how high I go, or what opportunities come my way, I would always dedicate everything I do to Him. Every interview, every magazine cover, every movie set, every TV appearance, every book written, every ministry assignment — it all belongs to Him.

So this shout-out is for God. The one who saw me when no one else did, healed what no one else could, and orchestrated a path I never could’ve imagined. I owe Him my life. Every open door, every testimony, every accomplishment is for His glory. And I pray my journey inspires others to know that when you surrender your story to God, He will turn it into something beautiful.
