We had the good fortune of connecting with Amir Guirguis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amir, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I wanted more freedom in my life. I knew if I worked for someone the rest of my life, I would be stuck in the daily grind. Because I made the decision to start my own company, I’m able to spend more time with family.

What should our readers know about your business?
Prior to this, I was seeing patients clinically. Because of the opportunities my prior employer afforded me, I was able to start my own business. Now, the most satisfying part of my job is being able to give other Dentists the ability to be owners of their offices. This can help them plan long term for their future and also help eliminate the student debt that inevitably comes with being a dentist. My philosophy has always been a patient first business model. I know if we do the right things for our patients, the success will follow.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Being based out of Sarasota, we have plethora of amazing ways to take advantage of the Florida coast. We are blessed to have top notch restaurants, beaches, and fishing. Any good weekend in Sarasota has to include some fishing and spending time on a sand bar.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My business partner, Graham Edwards, has always been the motor driving the business and pushing our boundaries. My wife, Abby, has been extremely supportive and has been there to build me up when I’m down.
