Hi Andrea, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
We love creating autentic feelings base on self experiences. in most of our our hotel and homes creations. the furniture and decorative pieces are made by Artisans from differents part of the world, local artists depending of where the hotel or home is based, single mothers, hand made materials made by indigenous tribes. With this we help the local communites of direfentes countries and also the sustainable consumption.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Andrea Mejia is the Principal Designer at Sensa Design, her vast cultural experience brings something unique to the table. Andrea graduated from design school in Medellin, Colombia and later spent nearly a decade in Asia, employed by a multinational company working as Chief Designer. During her travels, she observed different cultures, architecture, and styles of living which, broadened her perspective on design and her idea to work directly with locals artisians and tribes that still use their original technics,
Andrea has always had a passion for blending autenticity, creative spaces and functionality. a blend of this led her to start her own interior design firm in 2016.
Today, Sensa Design specializes in in hotels and high end homes.
we have a pasion to create meaningful, beautiful and functional spaces that have a story that are made from a memory.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Im a selfmade bussines women. I own everything that I have achieved to myself and to never giving up and never forgetting where I wanted to be. I knew I had a vision I just didnt know how to make it happen sooner so shoutout to THE TIME IS TAKES TO GROW AND TO UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF DISIPLINE
