We had the good fortune of connecting with Andy Rotondaro and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started entrepreneurial in 2012 when I launched a cashmere clothing line with business partner Richard Hottinger in New York. In order to run the business full-time, I obtained my real estate license and starting working along side Hottinger in NYC residential real estate for Douglas Elliman and Corcoran Group. In 2014, I moved to Miami to start our Miami office. February 2022, I started my own team at Compass known as The Daro Team.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Run a team of top-producing realtors (top 1% of realtors in Miami) at Compass Florida. We reserve residential needs in Miami and Miami Beach and some broader areas of South Florida.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Miami is the best spot in the world. I’ve always been in love with the city. It’s culture, it’s weather, it’s beauty. I do enjoy traveling. Europe, Caribbean, Asia, Central and South American are some of the places that I’ve enjoyed going. I enjoy seeing the world.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
After working 8-10 years as a residential realtor, I become involved in my island community in Miami called North Bay Village. An island of 8,100 people in the heart of Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach, FL. Just recently, November 2022, I was elected as Commissioner of North Bay Village, serving currently now on a 4-year term.
