We had the good fortune of connecting with Dr. Constance McIntyre and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dr. Constance, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
When making a decision to keep going or to give up, its best to evaluate your circumstances by balancing potential gains of your investment of time, energy, and emotional resilience, alongside the likelihood of achieving your goals.

If frustration eclipses satisfaction, your health is compromised, or you’re struggling to find direction, it may be time to pivot and explore new opportunities.

I’m learning that when I sense a red flag, I must not dismiss the warning signs. When red flags begin to line up, it’s time to either prepare for change of transitioning or preparation for some rest. Rest helps you to recreate and refocus. At the end of the day, I will not let anyone destroy, steal, or take my peace .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
