Hi ANGEL, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success—and that of my brand—has been an unwavering commitment to education and excellence. As a professional detailer and educator, I’ve never treated this as “just a job.” I’ve treated it as a craft, a science, and an opportunity to elevate the standards of the industry.

Through Purple Brothers Inc. and Detailing Zone Academy, we’ve built a reputation not just for premium detailing services, but for forming and certifying the next generation of skilled professionals. Our partnerships with top-tier brands, our focus on innovation, and our hands-on approach to training have allowed us to stand out.

But beyond the technical side, the key has been consistency, community, and purpose. I believe in building long-term relationships with clients and collaborators, and in always giving more than what’s expected. When passion meets precision, and when education drives every move, success becomes a natural result.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is detailing at the highest level—a fusion of science, craftsmanship, and emotion. Whether I’m correcting paint on a hypercar, protecting a yacht’s surface, or teaching a room full of aspiring detailers, my work is about precision, transformation, and storytelling through surfaces.

What sets me apart is that I approach detailing not just as a service, but as a form of expression and education. I’ve made it my mission to elevate the standard of the industry, especially in Latin America and now in the U.S., through education, community, and premium craftsmanship.

I’m most proud of the fact that my brands—Purple Brothers Inc. and Detailing Zone Academy—have helped shape a generation of professionals. We don’t just detail cars or boats; we build careers, confidence, and credibility. Seeing students go from uncertain to unstoppable is one of my greatest achievements.

But it hasn’t been easy. I started with very little, often working with borrowed tools and learning from trial and error. There were moments when I felt invisible in an industry that wasn’t ready to take detailing seriously as a profession. But I leaned on discipline, faith, and a deep belief in education as a tool for transformation. Every obstacle became a lesson, and every lesson became fuel for growth.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success is not just about talent—it’s about consistency, humility, and the people you serve. You don’t grow by showing off; you grow by showing up, over and over again.

If there’s one thing I want the world to know about my story, it’s that this isn’t just about shiny cars. It’s about proving that with purpose, you can build something meaningful—even in a niche, even from scratch. My story is proof that detailing is art, and when done with intention, it can change lives.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Miami for a week and I wanted to show them the best time ever, here’s how I’d plan it:

First, I’d take them to The Collection—a must-see spot to check out all the incredible luxury and exotic cars they have on display and for sale. It’s a paradise for any car enthusiast and a great way to start the trip with some automotive eye candy.

Of course, I wouldn’t miss the chance to introduce them to authentic Venezuelan cuisine—because nothing beats sharing the flavors of home. From arepas and pabellón to tequeños, it’s a delicious way to connect with my roots and share a piece of my culture.

We’d definitely plan a trip to the Florida Keys (Los Cayos)—a beautiful escape with amazing beaches, snorkeling, and that laid-back island vibe. It’s perfect for relaxing and experiencing some of the best nature South Florida has to offer.

Along the way, I’d also make sure to visit some of Miami’s other highlights: Wynwood’s art scene, Little Havana’s vibrant culture, and Miami Beach’s iconic oceanfront. There’s so much to do, but these experiences capture the heart of what makes Miami special to me.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Absolutely. While I’ve dedicated years to building my career, none of it would have been possible without the support and love of the people closest to me.

First and foremost, my parents. They gave me the foundation—discipline, values, and the belief that hard work can shape your future. Their example and encouragement have guided me through every stage of my journey.

Secondly, my wife Alejandra, who has been a fundamental part of this story. Her constant support, patience, and belief in my vision have been my anchor and my fuel. She’s been there in the toughest moments and the biggest wins, always reminding me of my purpose.

I also want to recognize the International Detailing Association (IDA). Becoming part of this global community was a turning point in my career. The IDA not only validated my skills but also connected me with like-minded professionals who share the same drive to elevate the detailing industry.

Lastly, my gratitude goes out to my students and peers. Teaching and learning from others has been one of the most rewarding parts of my path. Their trust keeps me evolving, and their growth is a constant reminder of why I do what I do.
