We had the good fortune of connecting with Anwin Mbah and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Anwin, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Working with Investments Banks mainly Private banks that deal only with high net-worth individuals I noticed that:
1. They were ALL business owners
2. The strategies they were putting in place, in their businesses/life around money had nothing to do with how, much money they made or their net-worth
This inspired me to start Wealthfluency helping businesswomen understand their business finance so they can turn their income generating businesses into wealth building assets.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
You see, I wasn’t always great with money.
I was really proud of the fact that I was an independent woman and driving around in my first car.
At least until I started missing the payments and struggling to pay my rent
It was one thing after another….my independent woman lifestyle was crumbling under my feet.
I stopped opening my mail. I worked longer hours to try to get myself out of the hole I was in. I was a nervous wreck whenever the phone rang or there was a knock at the door.
Needless to say, the dreaded day finally came, in all its spectacular glory.
I was startled out of my sleep, my car, the symbol of my independence, was being towed onto a recovery truck by bailiffs.
I felt sick to my stomach, angry at myself, disappointed, humiliated and plain old stupid.
But this was my wake-up call, and from that day forward I vowed to never be in that situation again.
This sparked my interest in money management and led
to me eventually to becoming a financial coach.
Forward wind 20 years, as a qualified Business Architect & Business Analyst, I specialise in supporting companies to define their strategy, execute plans and implement processes. With a proven track record for designing robust solutions and business architectures which underpin business change, capabilities, and transformation, therefore safeguarding regulatory compliance and delivering process efficiencies.
Having 10+ years experience as a consultant with major banks across Europe to implement these systems that make them a lot of money, I am uniquely placed to help women in business understand their finances and develop systems that help them build wealth, achieve financial security and the freedom they are looking for. I was able to grow my consultancy to multiple 6-figures within a year and this was back in 2013.
My mission is to help empower female entrepreneurs to develop the wealth mindset, the systems and the strategies to grow your revenue, increase profits and use that to build sustainable wealth so you can have more F-words….FUN, FREEDOM and FAMILY-TIME. I want women to be comfortable with money, wealth and feel successful at being the bread winner.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being the city of Disney there’s so much to do, see and eat.

Day 2: Pack a picnic with the girls and spend the day at Blue Spring State Park, swimming, kayaking and maybe a Scuba session
Day 3: have some fun with indoor sky diving at iFly, retail therapy at Millennial Mall and dinner at Azteca
Day 4: Spend the day at Disney World ….Animal Kingdom is a must
Day 5: Recovery morning and dinner at Selam Ethiopian & Eritrean Cuisine and have a girls night out at ICEBAR Orlando
Day 6: SPA day at The Detox Spa getting a body wrap and some mimosas
Day 7: Go for brunch at First Watch before flight out
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My journey from being abysmal to amazing with money started with Jen Sincero and her Badass series.
It took me one semester for my bad money habits to catch up with me culminating in my first car being towed away by bailiffs.
Took me 10 years to rectify the damage I did to my finances as a young adult. Being supported by the Millionaire Book Club members in London I was able to build my consultancy practice to multiple 6 figures working with investment banks, imagine that.
So a special shout out to Blessing Theophilus-Israel and Annette Galloway.
Over they years I have had the privilege of supporting many businesswomen with their wealth journey scaling their business in the process and and now as leader of the Orlando, FL Moms in Business Networking International I get to support a lot more.
Another shout out to Dayna N Anthony Mott US Leader for entrusting me with the Orlando chapter.
