We had the good fortune of connecting with Austin Grier and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Austin, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to make a difference in helping woman feel their most beautiful. I wanted to show woman that having babies doesn’t have to stop you. Before I started this journey with social media I got asked questions about my clothes or what make up products I used. I thought, you know what why don’t I just do this. Little did I know it turned into something that was such a passion for me and something that I wouldn’t change for anything! I am so grateful for the path God has put me on.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger. I share all things fashion and beauty with my followers along with everything I love, basically. It’s something that I am so passionate about and have grown to love so much! I am a safe place for woman to ask questions and come to if they need me. I love being able to share what I love with the world and be able to have that as my job is such a bonus. I started this journey just a year and a half and have grown so much. I am so grateful and feel so blessed to be able to do what I love. Being an Influencer definitely takes consistency and is slow moving at first, so that could be discouraging, but if you just keep with it and keep going all things are possible!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I was born and raised here in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We have the most beautiful mountains and our sunsets are truly something special. Our Tram is a one of a kind experience along with our Old Town. Old Town has amazing restaurants and shopping. We also have a beautiful Bosque Trail along our Rio Grande. Saw Mill Market is so much fun on the Weekends! You can try so many different foods and has a really cool atmosphere. Los Poblanos, Hotel Chaco, and Hotel Albuquerque are really nice places to stay while also getting the New Mexico Experience.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I couldn’t do any of this if it wasn’t for my person Jaime and my son Brixton. They are there for me every step of the way. My son is my purpose. I want to show him that all things are possible if you just work hard and put God first. Thank you Jaime & Brixton for being my everything!
