Meet Bianca C. Wilson | Brand + Squarespace Website Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca C. Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bianca C., Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Integrity is a value that I constantly aim for in business and in life overall. When you do your best to lead with integrity, you don’t have to constantly live “looking over your shoulder” or have this nagging fear of “being caught”. Instead, you know that everything you say and do is done to the highest level of excellence that you have to offer. And in my experience thus far, leading with integrity has opened certain doors because people felt like they can trust me, even if they didn’t know much about me. Ultimately, integrity shows who I am as a person (character) and not just what I can do (work).

What should our readers know about your business?
As an owner of a brand design studio, I enjoy the unique challenge of using my creative skills to solve various pain points for my clients through brand and website design. No one project is the exact same! Although my entrepreneurial journey hasn’t been 100% smooth, I’m appreciative of the deeper levels of faith, perseverance, and personal growth that I achieved along the way. I’ve learned that the more I invest in myself and my business, the more I’m able to show up and use my expertise to serve my clients on a new level. Moving forward, I’m excited for the future of Bianca C Designs as I’ve made a pivot to start exclusively serving businesses and brands in the Food & Beverage industry in June 2021. It’s the perfect blend of two of my passions—food and design! As I approach year two in business, I believe that I’m just scratching the surface of how I can use my business and God-given talents to make a great impact on others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my friend on a tour of Homestead. As a city between two widely-known Florida spots (Miami & The Keys), it has some great hidden gems to offer. For food, we would go to Robert Is Here (for fresh smoothies and boiled peanuts), Knaus Berry Farm (for cinnamon rolls, if it’s their open season), Mamma Mia 2 (for stromboli parmesan and garlic rolls), and La Michoacana Paleteria (for ice cream and frozen treats). For activities, we would go fishing, travel down 137th Ave to watch planes take off from the Air Force base, sightsee at Biscayne National Park, and go for a scenic drive in the Redlands.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give my mom & dad (Alesia & David) a major shoutout. They’ve always taught me to stand for Who I believe in, be a woman of my word, have great work ethic, and live a life that blesses other people. They have never shot down my dreams, always been a safe space for me, given me wise counsel, encouraged my varying interests, and been my greatest cheerleaders in this journey called life. Because of them, I am the woman and entrepreneur that I am today, and I’m forever grateful.
