Meet Brittani Verhoeven | Day of Wedding Coordinator/ Day of Bridal Bestie

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittani Verhoeven and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittani, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Success comes from within, right? So, I’ve always strived to put my heart and soul into every single wedding/event I do. If you were to ask any past couple why they chose me as their wedding planner they would all say the same thing, consistency communication and personality. My brand is all about going above and beyond for each of these couples, it’s making sure that no detail goes undone, that everything is going according to plan.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I really pride myself on taking each event and treating it as if it were my own personal one, treating my couples as if they were lifelong friends and making sure all goes right during the course of the day. I focus on really shining and bringing out my personality in every interaction, every email and every phone call.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First place would be somewhere to grab a drink and listen to some live music, favorite spot for that would be JB’s on Deerfield Beach. View of the best beach followed by a margarita and some sweet jams. Then we’d head over to Mizner Park for some Sushi over at Kapow Sushi Bar.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
As a young girl starting out in the hospitality industry, I was always told to be “the face” of the brand. Big hellos and meaningful goodbyes. Being in the hospitality industry now, but working for myself and building a brand, it’s always been an important thing to keep those core values, to really focus on that “meaningful goodbye.”
A lot of my success truly comes from my supportive husband who from the beginning has always kept my spark for wedding planning in his back pocket. It wasn’t until we had our daughter in 2021 that I was able to focus on building my brand and leaving the corporate world after 14 years of hard work and dedication. It was scary, not sure of the unknown or if I’d fail but he never once gave up on believing in me.
