We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittany Rivera and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brittany, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My vision for Orange Superior Cleaning LLC is to build a life of stability, financial security, and independence — creating a safe and welcoming space for both clients and employees. In the next 5 to 10 years, I see myself debt-free, enjoying the freedom to take vacations, and fostering a strong sense of community, fellowship, and togetherness. Through honesty, hard work, and dedication, I am committed to growing a successful business that not only provides for me but also uplifts those around me, helping others achieve their own stability and success.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Orange Superior Cleaning was born out of resilience, passion, and a deep-rooted commitment to excellence. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself at a crossroads. As a waitress, my job came to an abrupt halt when businesses shut down. Sitting at home, reflecting on my next step, I realized that my journey with cleaning had started long before that moment.

With years of experience in the residential and commercial cleaning industry—combined with the high standards instilled in me by my mother, a nurse with an OCD-level approach to cleanliness—I knew I had both the skills and the drive to build something meaningful. She didn’t just teach me how to clean; she taught me how to properly sanitize and disinfect with precision.

Over the years, working in homes, offices, and restaurants, I consistently received praise for my work ethic and attention to detail—clients and employers often joked that they couldn’t afford to lose me! Their appreciation reinforced what I had always known: cleaning isn’t just a chore; it’s a craft, a science, and a way to bring comfort and peace into people’s lives.

On a personal level, cleaning has always been my therapy. There’s a unique joy in transforming a space, freshening the air, and creating an environment that feels both healthy and welcoming. I wanted to share that feeling with others.

One of my biggest challenges was stepping into entrepreneurship without a mentor. No one in my immediate circle had experience running a business, so I had to navigate every step on my own. I quickly learned that starting a company wasn’t just about getting an LLC and an EIN—it meant understanding compliance, licensing, taxes, and a mountain of paperwork.

At one point, I felt overwhelmed and prayed for guidance. That’s when an unexpected friend from my childhood re-entered my life, inspiring me to push past my doubts and step into my full potential. That moment reminded me that we are never truly alone in our journey.

Despite the obstacles, I refused to back down. My perseverance, determination, and faith keep me moving forward.

This company is built on three key principles:
• Precision – Every surface is cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected with meticulous attention to detail.
• Professionalism – Reliable, trustworthy service with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Passion – A genuine commitment to creating spaces that are safe, healthy, and welcoming.
