We had the good fortune of connecting with Brooke Rosenblum and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Brooke, why did you pursue a creative career?
Choosing to pursue a unique career path was simply something I knew I was meant to do! When you truly align with your purpose in life, not much else matters! Even when I had to fulfill a traditional role working for other companies before starting my own business, I always chose to be employed by companies that were either in the same field as I wanted to be in, or was at least a brand I could stand by. I understood that along the way I would gather many tools and much experience that would come in handy when it would be time for me to spread my wings and take on such a huge responsibility! When I began to regularly visualize my future and what it would look like, it didn’t include me working a traditional 9-5 in an office setting. I’ve personally always been a creative person who took charge and enjoyed leadership roles. So at the point when I understood that I could serve humanity in large ways by pursuing this path, nothing was going to stop be from utilizing all of my unique skills to manifest that dream! I do not take for granted what a privilege it is to be an entrepreneur with a thriving small business. There was always a spark within me that has led the way when it came to making decisions which has shaped my reality as a business owner. I am grateful for the opportunity to do work that lights me up and I hope to inspire many others to be able to do the same for themselves!

What should our readers know about your business?
I am the founder of the brand May the Quartz Be with You. Under the hood of MtQBwY I offer a variety of services and products which range from energy healing, card readings, to an online shop containing crystals and essential oils. I am a very unique holistic practitioner who is passionate about all facets of wellness and my aim to is help serve others through the many pathways of this business model. The path was winding and not so straightforward as one could imagine, it definitely took time to cultivate the knowledge, confidence, and resources to make this business run as it does today! I am still learning and growing, that will never stop! The seed of May the Quartz Be with You began with a vision of a healing center, and ever since then, I began on my path by studying various healing techniques and learning about our human experience. Everything has unfolded in due time and I wouldn’t change this path for anything! Transitioning from having a full time job to being an entrepreneur was definitely not easy, but with the help of my family and loved ones I have been able to achieve greater levels of success step by step. Whenever I have needed assistance I’ve reached out for guidance instead of silently struggling alone. It can be an isolating path to do your own work but when you share in your journey with others, even if it is fellow entrepreneurs, it really shapes the way you feel – and adversely, how your business thrives!

Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
There are truly so many options when it comes to South Florida but I have already done such an array of fun things when friends have visited me! Whether it’s walking along South Beach or taking a airboat ride in the Everglades, there is no shortage of options for unique things to do. I really enjoy taking my friends to a variety of health food restaurants because we have a lot of options in Miami. I also always recommend walking around Wynwood for its art, the Aventura Mall for its expansive options, and checking out the Hollywood circle when the food trucks roll in.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I have to give a shoutout to my family! Without their support, my foundation would be faulty and I wouldn’t have felt safe to spread my wings in the ways I have throughout the years. I’ve always gone to the beat of my own drum but with every step they have acknowledged my ability to do what needs to be done. Secondly, I must acknowledge my beloved partner who is now also my co-worker! Rob, without your friendship, love, and patience I truly don’t know how I would have expanded my business in the ways I have this year. Your helping hands are the ones I trust and I couldn’t be more grateful to have you by my side as someone who shares in this dream with me. Thank you for all that you do – I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us! Last but not least, a heartfelt thank you to one of my greatest mentors in business and all things magick, Rakai’el of Soul Star Medicine. This woman is such a gift to humanity and made such an impact on my life in the last couple years. After going through a few of her courses and then a 1:1 mentorship, I came out on the other end of those experiences an evolved woman. Instead of telling me how to do everything, she guided me, inspired me, and lifted me up in the most compassionate of ways. She leads by example and is in many ways one of a kind. I haven’t even met her in person (in this lifetime, yet) but she showed me how to lead, to be sovereign, and to be 100% totally myself in how I exchange energy in my business and life. I thank her for all this and for simply being who she is at her truest essence.
