Meet Cary Diaz: Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cary Diaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cary, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
This is such a great question and one that many businesses overlook. WHY is a business so successful and what can be done to improve it? As a business owner, I always want to improve and I have so many goals I’d still like to accomplish. I think my business has been successful thus far because of the customer service and the entire experience I provide. I always imagine that each of my clients is my very first. When you start a business, you really go above and beyond to make each client happy and make each client an advocate for your brand. I try to never forget that. I never want to become complacent and I always want to ensure each client is not only happy with their end product, but that the entire process from inquiring, to booking, to product delivery is seamless and an amazing experience. Additionally, branding is so important for me. I want to make sure all of my business extensions, such as my website, my social media sites, emails and even product packaging, are a true representation of my brand.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am the photographer and business owner at Cary Diaz Photography. My work is characterized by colorful, vibrant and sharp photos. My photos are fun yet timeless. Cary Diaz Photography has been in business for over 10 years and I am proud of how far I’ve come. The journey has not been easy but so worth it. I am blessed to wake up every morning and do something I am so passionate about.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Gosh, Miami is such a fun and cultural city. There is so much to do at all hours of the day. Depending on his or her interests, they can visit a museum, spend some time on the beach, enjoy the nightlife or enjoy nature in the Everglades.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My husband, parents and family are a huge factor of why I can continue doing what I love. My husband encourages me each and every day to improve. With the help of my parents and other family members, I know my children are taken care of so I can take care of my business when needed.
