We had the good fortune of connecting with Chrissy Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chrissy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I was terminated from my job in April of 2020 due to the covid-19 outbreak. At that time, I was operating my business support agency on a part-time basis but I eventually decided to go into full-time operations a few days after my termination. Deciding to operate my business full-time was the best decision I have ever made, it has positioned me to offer my clients high-level transformational support that helps them to show up confidently as CEO and elevate the way they interact with their clients.
What should our readers know about your business?
I’m the owner/founder of Chrissy & Co Creative, a business operations firm that focuses on helping visionary women CEOs to automate their business operations, streamline their processes, and create intentional experiences so that they can execute their day-to-day business operations with ease. My services include systems setup (Dubsado, Honeybook, & Clickup) as well as Operations Management/OBM. I’m excited about the drastic changes in work-life balance that my clients experience after working with my business. I understand that most visionary women CEOs wear multiple hats, some are mothers/guardians, wives, board members, sisters, etc, and balancing these roles while being a high-level business owner can oftentimes lead to frustration and overwhelm. This is why I decided to focus on helping women to create balance by removing the manual overwhelm that comes with the day-to-day operation of any business.
Today, I am proud to say that my business has grown beyond my wildest imagination. I have worked with successful women who own/operate seven figure businesses. This experience has thought me how to offer the right support that will continue to effortlessly grow and scale any business. Starting out, just like any other business owner, I had many challenges, it wasn’t an easy journey but I was persistent and extremely strategic. My major challenge was imposter syndrome and mindset, I made the decision to invest in courses, books, and coaches, and relied heavily on the support of my fellow business besties.
I’ve learned a lot of lessons since I’ve been on this journey. These include not investing in a coach sooner and focusing on a specific niche. This all changed the moment I got clearer about the experience, service, and my ideal dream client.
My brand is built on integrity, consistency, honesty, and transparency. My aim is to continue to go above and beyond to offer my clients the best experience from start to finish.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
First, let me say that my friend would be in for a fun week: I live on the beautiful island of Jamaica where the sun is radiant, the food is to die for, and not to
mention the fun activities we can do. First, I would start the week with my friend at Ochi Bay beach in the beautiful parish of Ocho Rios. We would go to Plantation Smokehouse for lunch, they serve delicious Jamaican dishes like deeply seasoned jerk chicken, curried goat, mac and cheese, roasted sweet potatoes, and any beverage of choice.
We would also have to visit Dunn’s River Falls, Dolphin Cove, and Chukka Cove for a fun-filled day. Visiting the Oceans rooftop grill is the perfect hangout spot for the nightlife. Bob Marley Museum in Nine Mile, St Ann is also a perfect location to learn about our famous reggae superstar.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give credit to the Lord for preparing me for this entrepreneurial journey and for all the wonderful experiences and clients that he has blessed my business with. I’ve been able to impact others in my own way and that’s all because of the gifts I was given. I also want to give credit to my husband whos always been extremely supportive and understanding. Last but not least, I want to give a big shout-out to my AMAZING clients who gave me a chance. Thank you all!
