We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniella Fernandez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniella, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
As a Native landscape designer, my business contributes to the community and the world in several meaningful ways.

Environmental Stewardship: By focusing on native plants and sustainable practices, I help restore and preserve local ecosystems. Native plants require less water, pesticides, and fertilizers, which reduces pollution and conserves resources.

Cultural Preservation: I incorporate indigenous knowledge and traditions into my designs, honoring the deep connection between people and the land. This helps preserve and share cultural heritage with the community.

Biodiversity Enhancement: My work promotes biodiversity by creating habitats that support local wildlife, including pollinators like bees and butterflies. This contributes to the overall health of the environment.

Community Education: I offer brochures and educational resources to teach others about the benefits of native landscaping. This empowers the community to make environmentally conscious choices in their own spaces.

Economic Impact: By sourcing materials locally and supporting native plant nurseries, I contribute to the local economy. My projects also increase property values and create beautiful, sustainable spaces that enhance the quality of life.

Through these efforts, my business not only beautifies spaces but also fosters a healthier, more sustainable environment for future generations!

What should our readers know about your business?
What sets us apart is our deep commitment to using native plants and honoring the natural ecosystems of the areas we work in. We design landscapes that not only enhance the aesthetic value of a space but also support local wildlife, conserve water, and reduce the need for chemical inputs. This approach not only benefits the environment but also creates unique, vibrant spaces that reflect the natural beauty of the region.

I’m most proud of the positive impact 3o5 Gardens has on the environment and the community. Each project is an opportunity to restore a small piece of the earth to its natural state.

The journey to where I am today with 3o5 Gardens has not been easy, but it’s been incredibly fulfilling. Starting a business always comes with its challenges, from securing clients to managing the day-to-day operations. I’ve been fortunate to have the unwavering support of my family and friends, which has been crucial in overcoming these hurdles.

I want the world to know that 3o5 Gardens is more than just a landscape design company; it’s a mission-driven business that seeks to make a positive impact on the environment and the community. My journey to starting this business was fueled by a passion for nature and a desire to create spaces that are both beautiful and sustainable. Every project we undertake is a step towards a more environmentally conscious world, and I’m excited to continue growing 3o5 Gardens with that purpose at its core.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family and friends have always been incredibly supportive of my transition to starting up 3o5 Gardens. My mother, a nurse manager at Baptist Hospital, and my father, the owner of a small crane company called A. Fernandez Crane, have always been amazing role models for me. Their dedication and hard work have deeply inspired my own entrepreneurial journey. I also want to give a special shoutout to my friend Robert Collon and his company, Habitat Express. His guidance and encouragement have been invaluable as I navigate the challenges of building my business.
