We had the good fortune of connecting with Danielle Tasso and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Danielle, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I grew up and live on Long Island, NY. I lost both my parents to cancer when I was a teenager, one right after the other so by the time I was an adult, at 21, I was an orphan. I spent most of my 20’s in and out of therapist office but nothing seemed to help. I later went to a hypnotist and felt I was able to release addictions, weight loss, feel better about myself from just a few sessions, it was amazing! At the time, I was in school for Psychology , so I could help others, but after being introduced to Hypnosis, that is where I felt my calling was!

Please tell us more about your career. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I have spent my entire life trying to heal and grow and learn and most importantly love myself! It has been a hard road, this life I chose, and I just recently lost my 21 year old son after a 2.5 year battler with cancer. Being a single mom with only a sister as my family has been a huge challenge. If it wasn’t for the information that I have studied, including Hypnosis, Meditation, Energy Healing, Reiki, Tarot along with helping others on their journey’s, I don’t know how I would have ever survived! I take so much pride in my work because there really isn’t much I haven’t experienced personally so I understand my clients perspectives and challenges. I have been in rehabs, jail, abusive relationships, abandoned, suffered from clinical depression since I was 16, and the list goes on, but the most important thing is I get back up every time. Being able to assist others in their journey and to legit understand their pain is a gift. I survived what I have been through to be a light to help others heal! I’m not saying I would necessarily want to go through it all again, or wish that on anyone, but I am a tough survivor and here for a reason so I stand tall and proud in that fact. Helping others heal and spreading joy and love is what I now live for!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There is probably way too much to list, but I have to start with my Mentor and Guide through Hypnosis learning and eduction, Carol Denicker of North Shore Hypnosis. I have read so many books to assist in my healing and evolving, Dolores Cannon, Louise Hay, Neal Donald Walsh and my favorite, whom I also worked for, the late Dr. Robert Atkins just to name a few! I was also lucky enough to work for a period of time with the great spiritual gurus such as John Assaraf, Wayne Dyer, Kenji Kumara, and hundreds of other new age self help and healing entrepreneurs. However, I think the one person who has changed my life for the best with my career is my Light Teacher Diana Moore, who also recently passed over.
