We had the good fortune of connecting with David Dana and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
Simple NEVER GIVE UP, with anything in life you have to endure tough times to enjoy the fruits of your labor. The dream you have that business you want to make happen is possible just think of all the people who have succeeded before you. The first 6 months of operating my business I made very little to the point I almost gave up but you have to understand no business is successful overnight it takes time for people to trust you for you to build a reputation, build reviews, and relationships its a process that takes time the longer you stay consistent the more you will grow.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Here at Dana Party Rentals we focus on three main goals: Cleanliness, Stress Free, and 24/7 service. What makes me the most excited is to see peoples smiles as they see one of our products whether its a bounce house or waterslide making sure their event is a success.

We have been in business for over a year, the first 12 months were a massive learning curve. There is no single path or formula to start a business. In the beginning a lot was trial and error many mistakes were made. The key is to learn from mistakes and become more efficient. Everything is difficult, going to college is difficult, going to work a 9-5 is difficult. I went from working a 9-5 to working 18 hours a day 7 days a week to learn and grow this company. Many changes were made to the way I saw my week, weekends are non existent Fridays are now my Mondays and I go out during the week instead of the weekends as those are the two busiest days. There will always be challenges every day every week there is a problem, you overcomes these challenges through experience.

Lessons I have learned: There will always be good days and bad days. Enjoy the work you do. A smile is very powerful. Mistakes will happen. Value your time. Put in 1% more effort then the next person and you will be 1% ahead of everyone.

At Dana Party Rentals we want everyone to know we will go above and beyond for every customer. We are truly a 24/7 company I have received calls as late as 11pm and as early as 6am for time sensitive rentals and have answered and made their event a success.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The best places to visit South Florida are the restaurants, here you can find multiple cultures seasonings and tastes. That is the best thing about living here the diversity of food and culture is something that cant be found anywhere else.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Big Shoutout to my family who supported me and continues to support me through this journey without them I wouldn’t be where I am today. There is too many people to name but nearly every person I have met through this journey have taught me something that has led to my success. My success is based on taking action on an accumulation of advice from every person that I have met so everyone takes shared credit.
