We had the good fortune of connecting with David T. Goldfarb and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi David T., how do you think about risk?
Entrepreneurs are born risk takers that continually bet on themselves defining all odds. This is why they are referred to as the 1%. They live a Roller Coaster Lifestyle of High and Lows and take on so many responsibilities, ensuring job creations for the masses. It’s a lonely lifestyle at times, that also has big rewards. It takes a certain Mindset to continue to move forward even when the cards stack up against you.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Elev8 Fun Indoor Adventure Park is best described as the 2.0 version of Dave & Busters. It started in Orlando/Sanford in 2022 in a former Sears Department Store that was retrofitted to accommodate Go-Karts Bowling Lazer Tag Mini Golf Ropes Course coupled with Food & Beverage. Each location is 125,000 Square Feet of fun focused on Family Entertainment and Team Building. Activities. Today Elev8 Fun has 6 locations with Orlando/Sanford as well as Tampa Operational and Jesnen Beach Miami/Doral Jacksonville and a North Miami in development stages.

The basic ingredients to the success of Elev8 Fun is the continuous learning experiences through hard times that made Elev8 come to life.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We are currently building Elev8 Doral which will be similar to our other Elev8 locations in Sanford/Orlando Tampa and a Jensen Beach. With that being said we have a sister company Xtreme Action Park in Fort Lauderdale that is certainly fun for the whole family.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
EO which stands for Entrepreneurs Organization is a Worldwide Platform that is dedicated for Entrepreneurship. I have been affiliated with the South Florida Chapter for over 10 years.. It’s here where I seek consistent help amongst my peers that provide support for like-minded individuals focused on the life of an Entrepreneur.
