We had the good fortune of connecting with Dely Ramirez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Dely, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I always love jewelry, I started selling basic stainless steel jewelry, meeting in person with different people, throughout a selling platform, I even traveled to Lima, thinking if I could import from other countries. I have always been a risk taker, because if I don’t carefully jump into the pool, I would have never learned to swim.

I started enrolling in a Local Florida College, for Accounting Classes, but I obtained a business diploma instead, I always been good and like so much computers and math. I was nominated to form part in the NSLS group of the local college campus. And thanks to my Leadership class, I discovered that I wanted to follow another carrier path, in this case crating my own jewelry business, because prior of being enrolled in this class, I had already started taking the risk.

I decided to move forward with my career path in life, because I wanted to follow the path of my heart, by doing what I like, and using my technical and computer skills, now turning to Digital Selling throughout the Internet into my e-commerce website.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Well I am currently working with a Tech design company located in NYC, they enhanced my current business logo, but I always maintain my personal touch.

What it sets me apart is that I found my product Niche, and base in the current circumstances, this is my core.

And I found it mainly because I like it, I decided to Pierced my Nose , once only, a long time ago, but I did not like the actual feeling, so I don’t actually wear it much, but I decided to re-sell it, and that is how I found my product niche, by testing it into myself first.

Since then, I implemented product, price and material, we sell 14k gold nose piercings, surgical steel nose piercings, with different styles, and cute colorful gem-stones.

During the shut down of the pandemic, I was still taking a virtual college class, my last class was real estate, but I was so focus on growing up my business, that I failed the class. So I focus and move my e-commerce selling business online, selling through Facebook, I run some adds, that were cheaper at that time. We sold a lot of our 14k gold nose piercings, and we also gained different customers, throughout the Digital world. which let us to implement a new business strategy, by creating catalogs, and trying to enter in to the mail order catalog business. We know that now a days everything is Digital, but we also apply some of the conventional marketing methods, to provide a more personal touch and based that I once worked for a catalog company doing customer service calls.

One of the lessons I am applying everyday is to persevere, the goal is everyday! Even you get stuck try new things, such a short lesson or new class. Everything has changed now, and due to my perception, everything runs faster now, and it could be in some ways more complex. But Still. ” hey we are in the first world”.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Definitely the Beach, We usually go to a local beach near Hallandale, Hollywood and Dania Beach, also some times Key Biscayne.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My Mom, Although she was not too believable about me stop working my regular office work, she is finally viewing more results, and understanding my purpose in life.
