We had the good fortune of connecting with Destiny Goode and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Destiny, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Risk taking in my opinion is one of the most scariest thing to do cause you’ll know we know if the outcome will be worth it or not. However, it definitely played a part in my life/career. I risk loosing my job multiple times for photo shoots, castings & all the other opportunities I had to participate in to become a model. In other words, I feel like if you don’t risk it, you’ll never know. You have to take risks sometimes in life in order to strive & never forget to have faith & put your trust in God, leave it in God’s hands.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m proud of myself for not giving up. I’m normally a person who’d always see or feel that things are getting hard & just give up. I got to where I am by as I said not giving up. I remember dropping my first photoshoot pictures & I never got much love for it, that’s to show me how much people out there that don’t wanna see you win, so that drives to me work harder & continue to drop more & more shoots. No, it is not easy. For a 19 year old that lives on her own & have a lot of responsibilities on top of having to invest in yourself….it is definitely not easy. I over these challenges by just working hard & working around my schedule, I cry a lot lol but I wipe my tears & work harder cause I know it’ll pay off one day. The lesson I leave is not NEVER GIVE UP NO MATTER WHAT. It gets harder every time you level up.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to Miami Beach, that’s where all the good food spots are & fun things to do also. I’ll take them to Crafty Crabs, lol. That’s one of the best seafood joints in Florida, to have a drink, I’ll take them to Sugar & to hang out, definitely the beach. It’s sunny & there’s a lot to do like water sports, motorcycle riding etc….

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’m giving all my credit to God, lol. I wanna thank him for giving me the looks, body and potential to be able to Model. There’s time where I thought certain things wouldn’t be possible for me but he made a way, ALWAYS, he always come through.
