We had the good fortune of connecting with Hilary Kutik-Snyder and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hilary, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I view taking risks as something positive. I view taking risks as a growth & learning opportunity.

When I think about “risk taking” I think about the time when my husband & I most recently went on a 25 mile hike for 3 days/2 nights with another couple.

Going on that hike with my husband & friends was out of my comfort zone. If I am being completely honest, more than 1/2 of the time I was worried about running out of water & not being able to get to the next spot as scheduled. Not getting to the next spot as scheduled, meant we would have to do “extra” the next day.

I had more than one emotional breakdown. I cried. I sweat. I even plopped myself down on the floor and told my husband, “ I can’t do this.

Well… I did finish the hike. My husband may of had to carry my backpack for the last 10 miles but we finished it together.

In regards to Kissthisstyles, risk taking allowed me to change my life & career. Risk taking has enabled me to monetize my blog, Instagram & partnerships. Risk taking has prompted me to continue learning ways that I can make Kissthisstyles blog better.

When I think about risk taking… I think about accomplishing goals, identifying my strengths and weaknesses, learning more about myself & my surroundings.


Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

To document and share my experience in getting married, I created kissthisstyles.com in December 2020. Originally, Kissthisstyles was just going to be a personal blog for myself & my family could look back on for memories wedding related. However, I was so overwhelmed by the positive feedback & community that I opened up my blog to the public & made Kissthisstyles a Fashion, Beauty, Bridal & Lifestyle blog.

When I think about risk taking, I think about becoming the best possible version of myself.

My dedication to learning new skills, passion, eagerness, determination, professionalism, consistency & overall wanting success is what sets me apart from others.

Many times I hear, “ Hilary, can you show me how to do this?” I will show someone how to do something if they ask. However, I have found that many people think success happens overnight without making any changes.

That is not true. Success takes making change, learning new skills & being consistent.

I am extremely excited about my most recent collaboration with Margaritaville Resort in Nashville.

I got to where I am today due to making changes, finding resolutions to problems, having an open mind, making goals “long term,” always being open to learning new skills & consistency along with having leader qualities.

“Saying no” to brands along with setting rates & increasing rates for collaborations on blog posts and Instagram have been challenges for me.

It can become very easy to accept “items that you love” for a post on your feed. It can be a bit difficult to say “no” to brands if you are a people pleaser ( which I am). Sometimes I would even worry about “hurting feelings” if I said no to a partnership.

Developing self-worth and knowing your worth is something that has been a challenge. Time and organization can be challenges as well. There is a lot of planning that goes into a blog post, along with learning new skills and “SEO.
Ultimately, trying to limit my feelings when it comes to setting rates and boundaries with collaborations and partnerships has been beneficial to my overall success.


Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Davis Island- If you are a “dog mama” like me then you will definitely want to check out this dog beach. There is an entire area for the dogs to play.

Hyde Park- This is a great place for shopping, drinking, eating & just having a great time.

Hollis Gardens- Beautiful area to walk around & definitely “Instagram worthy.”

Ninwteen61-Intimate, upscale restaurant with a patio offering Latin American cuisine with a modern twist. Everytime my husband & I go here, we are blown away by the service, entrees & environment.


Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a “shoutout” to my husband, Richard. Richard is my best friend & soulmate.

He inspires, motivates me & is my biggest fan! Richard supports my dreams & always sees the bigger picture with Kissthisstyles. Richard takes 90% of the pictures on my Instagram.

Richard always finds time to help with Kissthisstyles. We send little “Calendar Invitations” to each other throughout the day to schedule “Picture Time.”

Not only does Richard take amazing pictures, but he is passionate about it. He takes pictures with so much honor, love, commitment & PASSION.

There have been many times when I am “feeling hot” and just want Richard to “take the picture.”

That will never happen…. Richard is always determined to find the best scenery & lighting for Kissthisstyles blog.
