We had the good fortune of connecting with Ellie Ellie Martinez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ellie, how do you define success?
Making a living off of your passion and being able to take time to enjoy your loved ones.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What sets me apart is experience and dedication to my craft. I have been in the brow beauty business for almost 10 years. I was one of the first to offer Microblading in Miami. I honor my craft and artistry by perfecting it every day and training with the best possible international artists to bring my clients the best possible results. Like with any career there have been ups and downs but considering I opened my studio two months before the pandemic hit My team and I have come back even stronger and that was a great lesson in itself. I am in a position where I am building and training a team with my techniques and makes me so happy to be able to reach to more clients as my team is hand picked and an extension of me, I am so proud!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This is a hard one as I am a new mom and don’t really go out as often anymore so I’ve lost my touch on what’s hot and fun. But I will visit my inner late 20s to help answer this one lol.

First I’d take a quick trip to the keys and eat at Hobos and have their “Key Lime Style Hog fish” then catch a beer flight at Islamorada Brewery. Go kayaking at Penny Camp and then have dinner at my most favorite restaurant Chef Michaels.

Go back up to Miami Brickell and have some sushi at Paperfish and head to design district and wynwood for some sightseeing. Then spend the rest of time at the beach in Las Olas.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My parents for always supporting me and encouraging me even at my moments I wanted to give up on my ideas.
