We had the good fortune of connecting with Felipe Carvajal and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Felipe, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?

I think it is very important to create your own business, since that generates in the long term an economic independence that is always necessary. It also empowers you and makes you believe more in yourself since it is your own project.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.

Conexion Miami began as an Instagram live and interview show. Then it grew and together with my team, made up of Cristian and Dalda, we became Conexion Miami Oficial, a YouTube channel that covers events and performs interviews to important music and TV personalities in Miami.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take my friends to the places I love here in Miami. To start the day, a delicius brunch in Las Olas, followed by a beach day and a nice BBQ. To close the evening, we would go to have gelato and to watch the sunset at South Point park.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’m always grateful for those who have helped me and believed in me. Especially my family and all those who have given me an opportunity in life.
