Meet Florence Gaspard | Speaker, Author and Transformation Business Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Florence Gaspard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Florence, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I believe to move in life there’s an amount of risk needed. Our level of fear usually has nothing to do with the actual level of risk we face. Fear causes us to overestimate risk. Additionally, we’ll overestimate 0ur abilities and your chances of success. That’s why some people fall for get-rich-quick schemes. On the other hand, being totally fearless may land you in situations that can work against you. The decision-making process is often full of uncertainties; one can never be 100% sure of the outcome of their choices no matter the effort we put into making plans. I teach my clients and others that taking calculated risks is important when creating successes. It involved us taken careful consideration of risk levels, risk impact, and rewards and deciding with the information we gather. Risk-taking is fundamental to growing what we invest in. Without risk, there could be no return. As an entrepreneur, I needed to take calculated risks in order to expand my territories, influences and see a greater impact in my businesses and life. When I invest more into my goals I receive more return on my investment.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m a transformation speaker, life and business coach with a psychological background. I had two loves. I worked as a mental health therapist helping provide skills and tools to people in order to optimize their mindset and performances. I also enjoy entrepreneurship and the creativity and freedom they bring. In my practice, I hold advanced degrees in Mental Health and Psychology. I fuse psychology and business principles in order to help my clients grow from the inside out and help them transfer and reflect growth in their business endeavors. In my journey, I had to rediscover who I am and my purpose after feeling unsatisfied with what I was doing in life during my mid-late twenties. I worked from the inside out to figure out my journey and expand my renewed perspective of life. Now, co-create my life and help others elevate their level of consciousness and living intentionally. I do believe many people have lost touch with who they really are along the way and don’t know how to connect with their purpose due to generational and societal conditioning, etc. Many people are living aimlessly and unintentionally through life and feel empty or unsatisfied. I want people to reconnect back to their higher selves and be able to know and use their personal powers to live a more daring a fulfilling life, which includes them expanding their beliefs and reaching more, and maximizing all of who and what they can be. My work is to help others get underneath their hoods and identify what has been keeping them back from soaring to new heights and removing limiting beliefs and restrictions so they can connect to their true selves and aligned with their purposes. When we are operating from an abundance space we are able to enjoy more enriching lives through our personal and business endeavors. When you can show up whole in your personal life you can also show up whole for your business, staff, customers, and clients. You can also easily identify systems in your business that are more efficient to your bottom line.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love to travel and try new things. I’m also a foodie. I would lay out a “dash a dining” model where I’ll take them around great ethnic restaurants in my local area. So, they can experience the world through their taste buds. We can do fun activities like riding a scooter through town, or ATV, painting, or taking a salsa dance class. I’ll invite a few of my friends that are always up for an adventure. Maybe on another day, we can chill on the beach and later dine outside in a waterfront restaurant and listen to soft jazz or reggae and calypso beats.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My success is tie into a collective of people and resources. I would like to give a shout-out to God and my parents for my presence in this world. A few thought leaders of my industry include Lisa Nichols, Tony Robbins, Oprah, Eckhart Tolle, Zig Ziglar, Don Miguel Ruiz, Daymond John, Magic Johnson and so many more.
