We had the good fortune of connecting with Glauce Djahjah and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Glauce, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
since I graduated, I worked in some architecture and construction offices in Brazil. after a few years of experience, I saw that it was time for me to have my own office where I would have greater freedom of creation and connection with clients
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I started my career before graduating from college in Brazil, doing some internships in renowned companies. so I learned from each area that architecture covers, such as projects, project management, etc… My career was enhanced when I moved to another city in Brazil, learning about different customer profiles. a few years later I moved to Miami and restarted my career. that was a big challenge
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
my life from an early age already starts with interior design and architecture when, since I was a child, I already liked to draw and make small models with my brother. and finally in college I was able to learn more and more about art as well. complementing this learning with internships in different emotions that I did.
my work for me is not a simple project but a deep interaction with the client, I understand their life and their routine so I can translate this into a completely personalized project not only with beauty but functionality as well
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
there is more than one person who encouraged and supported me in this process of opening my business. My parents forever and my husband.
