Meet Ike Rhein | Pop Singer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ike Rhein and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ike, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking risks is very important. To be success you have to take risks, end of story.
Its like Denzel Washington said, “I’ve found that nothing in life is worthwhile unless you take risks. . . Fall forward. Every failed experiment is one step closer to success. You’ve got to take risks. You will fail at some point in your life. Accept it. You will lose. You will embarrass yourself. You will suck at something. There is no doubt about it. . . Never be discouraged. Give everything you’ve got. And when you fall throughout life . . . fall forward.”
Taking risks has been the biggest blessing in my life. I wouldn’t be where I am now if I would have settled. We should never settle for a “normal life” Follow your dreams.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Getting to where you want to be is never easy! I think every artist has doubts at some point. When I first started releasing my music I would listen to the negative feedback and would start to doubt myself. The way I overcame it was by simply blocking out the hate and leaning on my friends for support. My good friend Grant Baker once told me “they will always mock you before they mimic you. Some lessons I’ve learned along the way is that its your job to reach your dream. Nothing is handed to you. Another lesson I learned is that not everyone can be trusted. You have to be smart in who you decide to work with!
I want the world to know that I’m here to make a difference. Through my melodies my lyrics, I want to touch lives.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I personally love Clematis street in West Palm Beach. They’ve got the best clubs, bars, food, just about everything. Also would take them to House of Hits recording studio in Miami. It’s really a one of a kind studio. Its just such a vibe in there and just a good place to hang out and make music!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Ive been so blessed with an amazing team around me. Shoutout to Ryan Emond my day one producer! Also shoutout to my mama Andre who always supports and encourages me!
