We had the good fortune of connecting with Jennifer Toegel and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jennifer, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to provide high end, artistic, and dramatic wedding imagery to my couples. I had worked for other wedding companies, and I did not like how a lot of the clients were treated. I thought that I could create a new company that could provide not only quality imagery, but high end customer service and a level of professionalism that I wasn’t seeing in the industry at that time.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Jennifer Juniper Photography LLC specializes in wedding photography, with a bright, bold, and dramatic style that sets us apart. We celebrated ten years in business last October. I began another company two years ago as well. Juniper Lane Events is a sister company to Jennifer Juniper Photography, offering planning and coordination, DJ, photo booth and mirror booth, as well as lighting and fog machine rental. I have an INCREDIBLE team working with me. Each and every one represents what I consider to be the best in the industry. I am extremely involved in my weddings, and have very high expectations for not only my own work, but the quality of service provided by each of my team members.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are many people that I owe my successes to. First and foremost, my mentor, Peter. I worked for his company for many years as a sports photographer, and he taught me so much about the photography industry as a whole. He also instilled in me the professionalism that I pride myself in today. My own company relies so much on word of mouth and reviews, and for that I cannot thank enough my past clients, followers, and fellow wedding vendors for allowing me the incredible opportunity to do what I love full time.
