Meet Jessica Woolverton | Jessica Woolverton, MSW | Founder of J WolfPaX, Mobile Wellness Innovator & Leadership Facilitator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Woolverton and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
J WolfPaX was born from lived experience and a deep desire to create something I wish had existed earlier in my life.
I went through a lot at a young age. Family illness, identity challenges, and the kind of emotional weight that forces you to grow up fast. Through it all, I found strength in movement, in sport, and in community. Basketball especially became my outlet. It taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to push through discomfort. Later, my work in social services and leadership development gave me the tools to support others navigating their own stress, burnout, and transitions.
But I kept seeing a gap. So many high performers like corporate teams, athletes, and youth leaders were pushing themselves to the limit without real tools for recovery. We talk a lot about performance and leadership but rarely about how we actually recharge or build resilience in a sustainable way.
That is what sparked the idea for J WolfPaX. I wanted to bring wellness to people where they are, in the environments where pressure builds. Our mobile trailer combines science-backed recovery modalities like sauna and cold plunge with optional leadership and mindset workshops. It is not just about feeling good in the moment. It is about helping people reset, reconnect, and rise stronger.
This is not just a business for me. It is a mission. It is my way of helping people access the kind of support that can truly change the way they live and lead.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Building J WolfPaX has been one of the hardest and most meaningful things I’ve ever done. It started as a simple idea. What if we could bring wellness to people where they actually are? Not just in gyms or retreats, but right at the workplace, on the field, or in the community.
That idea turned into a mobile wellness trailer that offers cold plunge, sauna, and compression. But what really makes us different is what we pair that with. We offer optional team-building and leadership workshops based on my background in social work and group facilitation. That mix of physical recovery and mindset work is what makes J WolfPaX special. We’re not just helping people feel better. We’re helping them lead better, perform better, and connect more deeply with themselves and each other.
It definitely hasn’t been easy. There’s no guidebook for launching something like this. I’ve run into everything from budget limitations to people not understanding what we do at first. But I’ve always stayed close to the mission. I know what burnout feels like. I’ve seen how stress affects teams, and I’ve also seen how powerful it is when people have space to breathe, reset, and grow.
What I’m most proud of is that J WolfPaX is real. It’s not about trends or wellness buzzwords. It’s about creating a space where people can show up feeling overwhelmed and leave feeling grounded, focused, and energized again.
What I want people to know is that recovery matters. When you take care of your body and your mind, everything shifts. You lead differently. You connect differently. And that is what we’re here to help people do.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
For sure. I definitely wouldn’t be here without a lot of people pouring into me along the way.
First, my mom. She’s the definition of strength and grace. Watching her push through so much while still showing up for others taught me what real resilience looks like. A lot of what I do now is because I saw what happens when people give everything without having the space to recover.
I also want to give a huge shoutout to the Posse Foundation. My time working with Posse Miami and the Veterans Program shaped so much of who I am. That’s where I saw how powerful community and leadership development can be when done with intention and love. It still influences how I build J WolfPaX today.
And honestly, to every coach, teammate, student, and friend who challenged me, supported me, or simply believed in me—thank you. This journey is rooted in connection and I carry all of you with me.
