We had the good fortune of connecting with Joshua Bond and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Joshua, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
I believe being deliberate about my actions have contributed to much of my success. Taking action immediately versus procrastinating and waiting for “the right time” have worked well for me. When deliberation is paired with consistency and strategy it’s tough not achieve some sort of positive result. Even if you fail at something, you can still find success from the lessons learned while striving to achieve your goal.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
BBS Aqua Rentals provides yacht and jet ski charters in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale areas. Our vessels range from 30-100
feet in length. The charters are available for 4, 6, or 8 hours.
Whether cruising with family or celebrating with friends, we have you covered. Our goal is to understand our customers’ needs and exceed their expectations with an unforgettable experience on the south Florida coast.

Starting our business was not easy, but we have overcome every obstacle placed in our way. We have done this by focusing on one issue at a time, until all the issues are resolved. Challenges can happen at any moment and keeping a positive mindset catapulted us to find a solution much faster.

Our brand focuses on making sure the client has the best experience possible. We are not always perfect, but we strive to accommodate all of your needs regardless of your budget.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
South Florida is known for having great beaches and we spend a lot of time there with our family when we aren’t on boats. Hearing the waves is always a calming way to relax. We frequent Haulover Beach, North Beach, and Sunny Isles Beach.

A few restaurants we like to visit on a pretty frequent basis would be Sugar Cane in Midtown, which has great food and atmosphere. Yard Bird in Miami Beach is an amazing brunch spot. The Chicken and Waffles is a must try, even if you don’t think you’re in the mood. If you’re looking for Korean BBQ, checkout Drunken Dragon. The dim lighting creates a nice ambience and shareables is the way to go. A hidden gem for Sushi would be Hoshi Sushi on Collins Avenue, they have great rolls and tasty asian inspired entrees. Reunion Kitchen in Aventura has great drinks and food.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To my wife: Judy Bond, thank you for your encouragement and support throughout our journey. You have always given me an abundance of love and support. The road has not always been easy, but thank you so much for working hard alongside me. Our future gets brighter everyday and I look forward to continuing our marathon together.
