We had the good fortune of connecting with Jovanna Correa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jovanna Correa, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My business really came from two worlds colliding. On one side, I’ve always had the entrepreneurial drive; I even pursued my Master’s in International Business because I knew I wanted to build something of my own one day. On the other side, I’ve always been deeply passionate about fitness, health, and beauty (looking and feeling my best). When I realized I could combine my business knowledge with my personal passion, everything just clicked. It felt like the stars aligned, and that’s really how my brand was born.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Vanna Belt is more than a brand; it’s a movement. At its core, it’s about proving that confidence isn’t a trend… it’s a choice.

The company was born from my personal journey and my desire to help women everywhere feel strong, supported, and unstoppable in their own skin. But getting here wasn’t easy. In the beginning, not many people believed in me. Even my mom asked how I could quit my corporate job to sell a gel. But I believed in myself, I believed in the vision, and I poured everything into it with consistency and hard work.

One of the biggest challenges has been the skepticism in this market. Body skincare and reduction garments are industries full of empty promises and I was determined not to be another one. From day one, I used my own products, I showed my own results, and I stayed consistent. Unlike influencers who sell one product today and another tomorrow, I’ve stood behind only my brand for the past 12 years. That consistency has built a level of trust and loyalty with my customers that I am most proud of.

And the proof is undeniable. The transformations we’ve seen; the before and afters, the confidence women gain, they speak louder than words. Those results have silenced the skeptics and fueled the brand’s success.

What I want the world to know about me and about Vanna Belt is simple: this brand was built by a woman, for every woman. It’s about creating products that actually work, staying true to my word, and helping women everywhere reclaim their confidence.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’m a beach girl at heart, so if my best friend came to visit, the whole trip would revolve around sunshine, ocean views, and Miami vibes. We’d start with outdoor activities: bike riding or rollerblading down Ocean Drive, then walking to South Pointe with my pup to watch the sunset and the cruises sail out by Smith & Wollensky. Of course, we’d have to dedicate a full beach day just soaking up Miami Beach’s beauty and a piña colada(or 2) while tanning in it’s perfect 80’s sunny weather.

For a little bougie touch, I’d take them for a stroll in the Design District or Bal Harbour, then out for a fabulous dinner. My go-to spots would be Mila for the rooftop experience, Casa Neos for the vibes, and my absolute favorite happy hour: Tanuki. And if it’s basketball season, a Miami Heat game is a must! If not, there’s always an amazing concert happening in the city.

Basically, I’d give them the best mix of beach life, luxury, and entertainment that makes Miami so special.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would have to dedicate my shoutout to my brother and business partner. Without him, I wouldn’t be where I am today. He’s the ying to my yang; we balance each other perfectly. For over 12 years, we’ve built this business side by side, and our differences have been our greatest strength. I’m the creative, the impulsive fire, and he’s the steady, rational voice with the numbers. I’m the pursuer, and he’s the calm. Together, that mix is what has made our partnership so powerful and long-lasting.
