We had the good fortune of connecting with Karelia Arauz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Karelia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Organizing is my passion! I honestly still can’t believe that I do what I love for a living! It fills my heart with joy to create beautiful spaces that honor my clients collections!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
To be where I am today took A LOT of work. For one, I sacrificed many weekends to pursue my organizing dream. I was working a 9-5 but needed organizing for my SOUL! I also had a plethora of naysayers who really made me doubt myself and my abilities. — Take it from this girl who went to college and got a degree in Journalism… In life, you have to do what makes you HAPPY! Don’t ever trust your future to others limiting beliefs. You can and you will!

What I am most excited for is expanding my company. I am so blessed to have so many wonderful clients and an ever-growing list of new ones!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Aside from all the touristy stuff Miami has to offer I’d take my BFF to witness a beautiful sunrise in Miami Beach —- First, we’d grab some coffee on 2nd and Ocean, believe me, coffee is definitely needed for this early wake-up call. Once at the beach I’ll take some awesome pics for the gram.. because did it really happen if you don’t have pics to show it? Then, we’d walk over to Big Pink to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Afterward we’d stroll down Ocean Drive to take some more stunning photos in front of the most iconic buildings Including Versace Mansion.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to thank my long-time clients who insisted I follow my dreams! Had it not been for those encouraging words I’d probably still be playing it safe in the corporate world.
