Hi karmel, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
manage work and being a single mom of three and be living in another country sounds terrifying right? well, it could really be hahahah but i guess balance is what helps me keep on track of my kids, house and work… we need to understand that quality time is more efficient than longer time…. when i seat down to work, i really spend that time focused on what its needed to be done. When is kids time, its kids time and when is time for me to take care of myself its REALLY my alone time.
other things that helps me is a board that i keep at the wall where we have a schedule of each day activities and shores that me and the kids needs to do. this give them discipline and i dont have to tell them the same thing everyday all over again…

About work, i LOVE working, I love what i do…. and its not a problem at all to work the all day or travel and not feel guilty about having your kids at home waiting for you or far way from you! we have to teach them how important it is for them to understand that “mom” has to work for the all family and when shes back she can give them the all attention that they need!!!

and about “mom” having fun… YES, it is OK for us to have a social life, go out with our friends, dinner, dancing… we just have to organize our time and make sure we out our priorities first…. that simple

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
i would say that nothing good comes easy…. I’ve been modeling since the age of 14. I’ve traveled all over the planet and lived in many country such as Japan, Germany, France, Italy…. and that help me matured very fast.

during the period as a model i felt that i needed more to fulfill my soul and i needed more challenges in my life, being just a model wasnt enough… só, i decided to create a fitness brand called KBFITCLUB where i designed a special workout mat that prioritize the woman lower body ( butt and legs) and it really works. I am a certified workout development designer and i worked for 12 months to elaborate and design this mat. I guarantee you will have that desirable “brazilian butt” with no surgeries, all you have to do is use my mat.

I am also a actress and the last year i stared in two movies, LOVE IN QUARANTINE and RETRIBUTION. acting became of my passions and i don see my self stopping to act never agin in my life.

besides this brand i became a movie producer. Me and my partner Andre Alvez just finished our thriller called ” the abode”. It is now on editing and it will be on the streams in august. you guys can’t missed… it will be the best thriller movie of 2022. 😉

and now i am working on a documentary about ukraine called “heartless” where I direct and produce. it has been very challenging but i am in love with the all process and i am enjoying every part of it!!

I guess i was born for this industry that i love and that embraced me with só much love and the doors are wide open… and i am entering every single one of them…. watch me… hahahah karmel is unstoppable

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
well, you dont know miami if you miss a boat ride…. a boat ride in miami is just breath taken… and for sure seat down on a restaurant at miami beach and just people watch….
then I always take my friends to the surfclub, setai, makoto at bal harbour shops, fort laudadale…. d’ angelos restaurant that I love … there is sooo much

yes, Oprah…. i love how resilient she is. how dedicated and devoted to what she always wanted in life and she didnt stop until she got where she wanted to be. and of course, FAITH
