Hi Katiana, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind success is having success be defined by you and YOU ONLY. So many times we get caught up in defining success based on societal expectations , our parent’s expectations, or our friend’s and family’s opinions. This can leave us unfulfilled, stressed and disappointed. Success to me is defined by how much impact I have on my community, while simultaneously being able to lead by example. Success is being balanced emotionally, spiritually , physically and financially. The Success of my brand is defined by high impact, and accessibility. I teach professional women how to become profitable investors. Having 70-90% of my clients and students implement the knowledge they gain from my programs and achieve results is success. Having at least 14 streams of revenue for my business, and having my hand in multiple industries through my business is success. Having clients all over the world, is success. Having my clients empowered to teach and lead others is success

What should our readers know about your business?
My business Sawa Sawa LLC was created to establish a brand of financial literacy amongst women. After studying Finance in College and going out into the world of Personal Finance, I realized the gross underrepresentation of women , specifically women of color. To often I have been the only “Black Woman” in the room, and sometimes the only woman in the room period. The world of personal finance focuses on budgeting, and getting out of debt, yet not enough of us are out there teaching women how to INVEST. How easy it is to invest in Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Real Estate etc. While doing market research I found no shortage of “How to get out of debt” or “How to budget properly” programs. Starting my business was unbelievably easy, why? Because there is such a need for Investing Education and very few women are out there doing it. The hardest part was structuring my programs, so many of my clients need hand holding and being able to provide the guidance needed left me strapped for time. I mean, I only have 24 hrs in a day 🙂 Some of the greatest lessons I picked up in business, is that the sky is not the limit, the MIND is. You have the power to create money at any point and any moment in time. You have the power to attract your ideal client. You have the power to meet your financial goals in your business. This takes spiritual work. We must let go of our limiting beliefs, we must reprogram our minds to believe in ourselves and achieve the things we desire. I want the world to know that Sawa Sawa LLC’s Intelligent Profitable Investors program teaches women how to become profitable investors not just through teaching strategies, but through expanding the mindset as well. Money is energy and can be called at any point in time.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would first take them to one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale called Pirate’s Bay. It is a Brazilian Restaurant right on the Las Olas River. The food is delicious and flavourful. I would then take them to Little Haiti and visit all the hidden gems, and finish the day off with a drum circle on the beach.

I want to Shoutout Lattice Hudson, her coaching program has completely shifted my mindset, and allowed me to make a quantum leap in revenue.
