We had the good fortune of connecting with Kevin Consuegra and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kevin, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind starting my whole business all started when my relatives at the dinner table had mentioned that I had over 10+ jobs and that led me to think, ” Why is it that I had so many jobs? “. The truth of the matter is that I was meant to be a independent creator. All of my life’s decisions have led to me creating my own thing even doing independent sports like skateboarding which I have been doing over a decade now. I once heard a quote that mentioned, “We already died in the future, so why not achieve everything you want to do and everything you want to be while unapologetically the closest thing to yourself”. Now don’t get me wrong we need workers we need people like doctors and nurses in this world but my passion and drive always came from creation. This led me to started Fourth Eye Productions a video production company that not only sells videos but mainly focuses on displaying your vision as you originally perceived it and gaining results for you your business. Whether it’s creative, industrial, or just social media content we have you covered at Fourth Eye Productions.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My whole vision around Fourth Eye Productions was to not have any limits or industry standards behind how I achieve something visually. Your mind is so complex, and our dreams are sometimes just so random. I thought to myself: why limit the ideas that come up in my head?
We all have different fingerprints, and not one person in the world has exactly the same features as another. So, embracing yourself to the highest level is what I strive for. If I want to add an eyeball to every person’s head in a crowd for a project—what’s stopping me from doing that?
It’s okay to be the black sheep. I’m sure Tim Burton wasn’t the most “normal” person around, and that’s why he’s where he is today.

It all started when my father found out I had dropped out of college. I personally felt like I wasn’t learning as much as I could have on my own, especially for the things I truly wanted to pursue in life. Believe it or not, I originally wanted to be a music producer.
After he found out I was no longer attending college and had been sneaking out to go box at South Florida Boxing in Pembroke Pines on school days, I was put in the position where I had to go to school for at least something. This led me to attend SAE Institute of North Miami in 2019, where I pursued a path in audio engineering.

My life then took a turn. Making beats was no longer my passion—I was still trying to find myself. But while attending SAE, I picked up a few skills: the importance of audio, and how to use tools like Unreal Engine and Dolby Atmos.
I took those skills and bought my first camera: the Sony A7III. At first, it was just me and my friends at the skatepark. Using a camera seemed impossible when I first opened the main menu to tweak the settings. Needless to say, I figured it out. I decided to shoot my first video for a business I started at the time called Midnight Wealth, where I aimed to share my thoughts on investing in the futures market. Eventually, I realized that sharing my financial decisions online wasn’t the route I wanted to take—it felt like I was slowly being boxed into one thing.

The reason why I enjoy cameras so much is the fact that no matter where I go or what I do—I can film it. The biggest lesson that I’ve over the year’s is to be patient with everything in life. Patience is a super power just like in chess. Not everything can be solved in one day so enjoy the process and the highs and lows.

I’ll leave you with this, ” You know your passionate about something when you would do it for free”.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite spot has to be the woods at Markham Park Davie this is a great location for any nature vibes you would to achieve in a film. This location has canoes and a lake and can be used for a creepy aesthetic. It feels like the only true woodsy area that I know of so far. Other than that I love to check out museums and haunted artifact spots. I find haunted locations so fascinating as well as the people that go on paranormal investigations like Twin Paranormal and The Overnight Channel on YouTube.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give recognition to my father, Juan Carlos Consuegra for instilling the mindset I have today to be absolutely relentless and to never stop learning. Over the years adopting this mindset has helped me mold myself into a fighter not just in videography but how I combat in everyday situations. Most importantly I would love to give recognition to Jesus Christ for giving the breathe of life and being the reason why my spirit will continue to live eternally. Overall it is important to be the most optimistic person you can be whether you are at a low or high point in your life and to never doubt your self and to know that everything is possible with preparing and action. We are all just grown babies figuring things out in the world.
