We had the good fortune of connecting with Kyla Derkach and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Kyla, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Taking risks makes me feel ALIVE. In 2017, I quit my job in Canada and packed up my life and moved to the island of Mallorca in Spain. My spanish was limited, I was entirely solo and had never been to the country before. (I’m not new to this, as I moved to Australia at 21 as well.) This shift carved out a new paradigm which was the catalyst for starting my digital business as a Human Design Business Coach. In only eight months, I have scaled to six figures and built a strong foundation and helped many others revolutionize there life and career.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Kyla Derkach is the founder and creator of HATHA ASTRO. Kyla is an a professional Astrologer & Human Design Specialist — a modality based on ancient and modern science, which helps us discover what makes us different from everyone else. It offers profound insights into psychology, along with strategies and techniques for making aligned decisions, leading to a life of more ease and fulfillment. She saw a need in the booming coaching industry for unique strategies that recognize there is no one-size-fits-all approach to business. She helps soul based leaders rapidly scale their business to 6 figures and beyond in an energetically aligned way based on their unique design.

The main challenges I experienced in my business were finding my way in a crowded online space. There are so many strategies, platforms and conflicting information that made me feel like I was spinning my wheels. Eventually I made the decision to enroll in a high-level Mastermind which gave me a success blueprint. The container came a hefty price tag ($15,000) I was scared AF when I made the final decision. However, what I learned is how to trust myself. I knew with the right support, I could make anything happen. On the other side of fear there is tremendous expansion + opportunity.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Palma De Mallorca.

Day One: BEACHES. There are 232 pristine mediterranean calas and beaches on the island of Mallorca where I live. We would hit up a few on bikes, and stop for tapas & canas (mini beers) along the way.

Day Two: DEIA. Deia is a small mountain village on a world heritage site. (Michael Douglas has a home here.) The views are outstanding and there is a wonderful Paella place which is a local favourite dish. Likely we would go for a hike, and potentially catch some sound healing from the wonderful @savastis. Day Three: Night out in Santa Catalina. The gastronomy in this lively neighbourhood is full of sensuous pleasures.

Day Four: Trip to Ibiza! There are daily ferries and boats from Mallorca to her sister island of Ibiza. There is a wonderful hippie market there, full of conscious goodies. Afterwards, a glass of tempranillo to watch the sunsets.

Day Five: Beach Yoga at Cala Mayor Beach with @yogamarisol. Best location for some flow ever!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate this to my time working with Rebecca Ives in Marketing Miracle! Her program changed everything for me!
