We had the good fortune of connecting with LaKeisha Chandler and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi LaKeisha, what do you attribute your success to?
The most driving factor behind the success of Ready, Set, Assist is high-quality client experiences that anticipate client needs. As a virtual assistant, my client base is heavily involved in growing their business and one added benefit of hiring Ready, Set, Assist to support their vision is anticipating all of the smaller decisions, and touch points that make that transition smoother.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Ready, Set, Assist is my baby! We are an executive virtual assistant service that goes above and beyond to deliver an efficient, and high-quality client experience. Building and operating a virtual assistant service is not for the faint at heart. Many solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, and small businesses may need the services but struggle to release themselves from the shackles of “I must do it all myself”. Not to criticize because I love a good DIY however I can acknowledge that delegating a task can be more effective for the growth of an organization and its team members. While I am still growing and have so much more to learn I continuously look for ways to give my clients a memorable experience.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to credit the women of Power, Praise, and Deliverance Church for being active participants in the molding of making me into the woman I am today. As a child and teenager, I attended the church and was taught, guided, loved on and corrected by these women without ever feeling as though I was being indoctrinated nor that any of them were speaking to me to make me feel less than. My experience was more than the church it was a community that helped me develop traits such as a service mindset, perseverance, accountability, compassion, leadership, and a good sense of humor.
