We had the good fortune of connecting with Leidy Rengifo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leidy, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business was driven by my passion to help immigrant families understand financial matters that often seem complicated. Many people think coming to America is only about making money, but it’s also about learning how to protect it, grow it, and take part in investment opportunities. It’s not just for the rich, everyone can and should have access to these tools for a secure future. My goal is to simplify these concepts so families can build a strong financial foundation and achieve their dreams.
What should our readers know about your business?
What sets me apart in my business is my unwavering dedication and ability to make complex financial concepts simple and relatable. I take pride in breaking down barriers and helping families understand how to protect and grow their money in ways they never thought possible.
I’m incredibly proud of being the first entrepreneur in my family. Building my business from the ground up without the security of a salary has been one of my greatest accomplishments. It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve overcome challenges by applying what I teach. I’m a firm believer in practicing what I preach, and the results speak for themselves.
The journey has taught me that the hard work and dedication I put into this is worth every effort. One key lesson I’ve learned is that while you can reach great places on your own, with a team, you can conquer the world. I want people to know that becoming an entrepreneur is possible when you align your mind, heart, and faith in God.
To create something different, you must act differently. And to achieve extraordinary things, you need to move beyond the ordinary. With love, passion, dedication, and education, we can go far and inspire others to do the same.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a friend of mine were visiting me in Miami, I would definitely take her to places like the Design District, the Financial District in Brickell, and, of course, a boat ride. Miami has so many spots that showcase abundance and success, places that represent how people have achieved great things economically and financially. I would be thrilled to share this with her, not just as an experience, but as inspiration showing her what’s possible. It would remind me of why I work so hard every day, so I can achieve that same level of abundance in my own life and inspire others to dream big and work for it too.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
In my story, people like Raquel and Alex Guevara deserve a huge shoutout. They are first-generation immigrants to America, and in just two years, with the right tools and guidance, they built a successful business that has not only protected countless families but also helped others achieve financial independence. Their dedication and resilience are a true inspiration, showing what’s possible when you combine hard work with the right financial knowledge.
