We had the good fortune of connecting with Lucca Saviello and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lucca, what are you inspired by?
I’m inspired by my culture. Brazil is incredibly rich in music, with so many unique genres—it inspires me every day. Miami also plays a big role in fueling my creativity. The cultural mix here has taught me a lot and helped me expand my musical vision.
Another huge source of inspiration is my mentor and manager, Johnny MARS. With his vast musical experience, he constantly motivates me to think outside the box and be different.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
When I’m not DJing or touring around the U.S., I’m in the studio with my team trying to create fun, next-level music. I also work 24/7 on my content—editing photos and videos, often shooting everything myself using my own cameras. It’s all about staying consistent.

Having a routine to release new music and follow it up with strong visuals definitely keeps me busy from Sunday to Sunday.

What are you most proud of?
I’m proud to represent Brazilian culture on a global stage by blending our sound with international influences. My sets are always high-energy—just like me—so when people meet me, they know exactly what kind of vibe to expect from my performance.

Moving from Brazil to Miami wasn’t easy at first. The rhythm of life here is different, and I wasn’t sure how I’d fit in or stand out as a foreign DJ. But the way Miami embraced me changed everything. It shaped who I am today, both as an artist and as a person.

I want the world to know that Brazil has a sound. It’s rich, it’s powerful, and it deserves global recognition. Baile funk should be on the map the same way reggaeton is. It’s time for people to feel and respect the movement.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d definitely take them to Wynwood and Downtown Miami—those are the spots where you really feel the heartbeat of the city. We’d grab some food at Mayami, then hit a party like Baile da Gringa or MAD Club. Or honestly, we might just go straight to Space or E11EVEN—guaranteed good vibes!

There’s this Brazilian spot called Boteco do Manolo that, in my opinion, has the best Brazilian food in Florida. I’d definitely take them there—the plates are huge and full of flavor. From churrasco to seafood, even the way they cook pasta—you can really taste Brazil.

As a big basketball fan, I’d also take them to a Miami Heat game. If they’re into football, we’d hit a Dolphins game at Hard Rock Stadium. Gotta give them the full Miami experience!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My close friend, Gio Negron. He’s a music producer and top audio engineer who has worked with some big names in the industry. He’s also a talented singer. We’ve collaborated on multiple records, and he’s been like my right hand when it comes to production.
We’ve been experimenting by crossing genres to create something fresh—it’s been a blast. Gio actually came up with the idea for my favorite track of mine, “Suave.” The whole concept started with him, and the result was crazy. I’m pretty sure he’s going to be one of Miami’s top producers really soon.
