Meet Manuel Peña | Architecture and Engineering

We had the good fortune of connecting with Manuel Peña and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Manuel, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My thought process behind starting my own business was driven by my Father Yahuah a combination of purpose, passion, and a commitment to delivering a higher standard of service. As an architect, I realized early on that clients value direct communication, transparency, and a hands-on approach throughout every phase of a project. I wanted to build a firm where those principles weren’t just expectations… they were the foundation.
I also saw an opportunity to bring a more efficient, turnkey solution to the market. By integrating architecture, engineering, and project coordination under one structure, I could provide clients with a seamless experience from concept to completion. Starting my own business allowed me the freedom to innovate, build strong partnerships, and create a service model centered on trust, accountability, and results.
Ultimately, I started my firm to make a meaningful impact… helping clients bring their vision to life while ensuring every project is handled with professionalism, integrity, and excellence. Ideas Begin Here.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Peña Architecture and Engineering Corp. President Manuel Peña built on a simple but powerful belief: every client deserves a seamless, turn-key experience… one firm that can guide them from concept to completion with clarity, precision, and genuine commitment. What sets us apart is not only our technical expertise, but the personal attention we give to every project. Clients know they can speak directly with me, and that their vision will be handled with both professional depth and human care.
Manuel Peña is most proud of is the trust we’ve earned over the years. From homeowners and condominium associations to commercial developers, government and international partners, people appreciate that we bring solutions, not complications. Our work is rooted in transparency, communication, and a results-driven mindset. When others say “it can’t be done,” we look for how it can be done.
How I got to where I am today has been anything but easy. Like many entrepreneurs, I started with limited resources, a strong work ethic, and a determination to build something meaningful. There were moments when projects were slow, when regulations were challenging, or when it felt like the mountain was too steep. But every setback became a teaching moment. I learned to stay disciplined, stay persistent, and stay focused on delivering excellence… no matter the circumstances.
The challenges made Mr. Peña sharper. They taught Manuel Peña the value of patience, the importance of relationships, and the power of showing up for clients with consistency and integrity. Every lesson along the way shaped the systems, standards, and professional culture that define Peña Architecture and Engineering Corp. today.
What Manuel Peña want the world to know is that this company is more than a business… it’s a mission. We exist to create trust, elevate communities, and make development easier for the people who rely on us. We bring architectural vision and engineering precision together under one roof so clients don’t have to juggle multiple firms or lose time to miscommunication. We are a one-stop, turn-key firm built on experience, faith, and the conviction that excellence must be non-negotiable.
Mr. Peña story is one of perseverance, passion, and purpose, and every project we take on continues that story. When clients work with Peña Architecture and Engineering Corp., they’re not just hiring a firm… they’re gaining a partner that’s dedicated to results, solutions, and long-term relationships.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friends were visiting South Florida for a full week, I’d make sure they experience the energy, culture, and hidden gems that make Aventura, Sunny Isles, Hollywood, and Dania such special places. Each city has its own rhythm… and together, they create the perfect blend of relaxation, food, scenery, and excitement.
Day 1 – Aventura: Luxury, Views & Good Food
We’d start in Aventura, one of my favorite areas.
Breakfast at Pura Vida for something fresh and clean, then a walk around the Aventura Mall… not just to shop, but to enjoy the art installations and the outdoor spaces.
In the afternoon, we’d take a peaceful stroll along the Aventura Circle, enjoying the water views.
Dinner at Serafina or Pubbelly Sushi for a relaxed evening overlooking the marina.
Day 2 – Sunny Isles: The Beach Day
Sunny Isles is all about the ocean.
We’d start with breakfast at Miami Juice, then head straight to the Sunny Isles Beach Pier.
The day would be slow, warm, and classic Miami… sun, sand, and great scenery.
Dinner at Il Mulino or BALEENkitchen inside Sole Miami for beautiful views right over the water.
Day 3 – Hollywood: The Boardwalk Experience
Hollywood is full of character.
We’d spend the day on the Hollywood Broadwalk, renting bikes and cruising along the oceanfront.
Lunch at Le Tub, known for its burgers and waterfront vibe.
After sunset, Margaritaville is perfect for live music and a fun night.
Day 4 – Dania Beach: A Hidden Gem
Dania doesn’t always get the spotlight, but it’s one of the most underrated areas.
We’d start the day at Dania Beach Pier, relaxed and peaceful.
Lunch at Tarks of Dania Beach for that old-school South Florida seafood experience.
Later, we’d walk around Dania Pointe, enjoying the shops, restaurants, and entertainment.
Dinner at Cooper’s Hawk or Firebirds, depending on the vibe.
Day 5 – Aventura + Boat Day
No real South Florida trip is complete without getting out on the water.
We’d rent a boat from Haulover or the Aventura marina and spend the afternoon cruising the Intracoastal… beautiful homes, calm waters, and good music.
In the evening, we’d enjoy a relaxed dinner at Casa D’Angelo or Novecento in Aventura.
Day 6 – Sunny Isles + Relaxation
A more chilled day… starting with a spa session at Acqualina Resort.
Lunch on Collins Avenue, then walking the beachfront.
Sunset drinks at Panorama Terrace & Grill, with a perfect view to unwind.
Day 7 – Hollywood + Dania Finale
For the last day, we’d revisit some favorites… maybe brunch in Hollywood, another stop at the Broadwalk, or a last walk on Dania Beach Pier.
We’d end with a celebratory dinner at GG’s Waterfront in Hollywood, watching the boats go by.
In my view, these four cities offer a perfect balance:
Aventura for its elegance and convenience
Sunny Isles for its beautiful beaches
Hollywood for its classic Florida charm
Dania for its relaxed, authentic vibe
South Florida has something for every personality… food lovers, beach lovers, nightlife seekers, or people who just want to enjoy the sun.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to thank my Heavenly Father Yahuah and my brother Yahusha.
