We had the good fortune of connecting with Marck K. Joseph Esq. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marck, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
The Joseph Firm helps the community by providing a reliable network of Family & Divorce attorneys who have their client’s best interests in mind as they are transitioning through difficult periods in their lives.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Joseph Firm was established in 2011 with one overall goal, to be a reliable source for Family Law. We offer services ranging from Child Custody & Time Sharing to Family Law Appeals and Equitable Distribution for the South Florida area. What I am most proud of is the success the firm has received. The moment we opened our doors, I have been able to welcome additional staff to our team, along with having the opportunity to be an active member of our community through donation efforts, time, and work spent towards helping to make the South Florida community much better place to call home. I am also excited about the opportunities to come with pending projects with local organizations and nonprofits. So stay tuned for what’s to come! I have always been a business person; as a kid, I even sold candy at school! Being an entrepreneur has always been something I’ve been passionate about. This passion has followed me throughout my law practice as well. From when I began to seek mentorship throughout Law School and to today, I have had to pleasure of crossing paths with trusted attorneys, judges, and other professionals who have assisted me to not only becoming a better attorney but a better person. The major lessons I’ve learned along the way is that the practice of Family Law is a service for the community. Regardless of my legal knowledge and how involved I am in the community, I am committing a service for someone. The ability to serve our clients is so important. Not just in the sense of doing my job, but making sure each client feels comfortable and confident throughout their case proceedings. I have discovered that encouraging my clients to be involved has greatly impacted their confidence and trust throughout their case as well. Despite what the outcome may be, ensuring each individual involved in the court case feels represented is so important to The Joseph Firm. I have also learned that having a strong team who enjoys working together is so important as a firm. When dealing with family law, it can become draining if you try to accomplish everything alone. By surrounding yourself with a reliable staff and a strong group of peers you have a circle of people who have your back no matter what. I am so blessed to be able to say I have people surrounding me throughout this journey. Because of them, I have been able to focus on expanding The Joseph Firm along with devoting time to my mental health.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I have been living in Florida my entire life, so I have many recommendations! If you’re looking for a fun getaway with your crew I suggest these stellar Miami spots: – Haitian Cultural Center – Walkthrough Wynwood’s Design District – Next, we would go to Lil Green House for lunch – We would end the day walking to Overtown to check out the historical aspects of the city. – Next day, we will go to Miami Beach for some drinks at a cool spot on Ocean Drive and then end the weekend eating dinner at Gloria Estefan’s.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would not be where I am today if it were not for my team at The Joseph Firm. Past and present, each individual has been a key member of what we’ve been able to achieve as a Family Law Firm. Because of their dedication, I am able to contribute back to our community through donations as well as being an active member of the Florida Bar Association.
