We had the good fortune of connecting with Mariane Fahmy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mariane, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success as a wedding & event planner I would say is Me, My brand is me it’s my love and passion for what I do, providing exceptional services, catered personally so that my clients have an experience that’s second to none. The best kinds of experience in life are the ones that leave a personal touch, or memory behind. I strive to connect and develop a relationship with each client, often by the time the event date rolls around my clients have become more like friends. This is even more important especially now with a pandemic and Covid-19 shutting down the event industry the need to be able to effectively communicate with my clients on postponing and changing schedules, keeping them calm and positive about the situation. Delivering beyond my clients expectations on the event date is very rewarding feeling, but the most important factor behind the success of my business is the experience my clients have with me during our planning time together leading up to the event day stress free and relaxed to enjoy!
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Trés Chic event planning is a boutique style event planning and design company serving the South Florida area. Known for our flawless eye for details, and hands-on approach to weddings and events no matter how big or small the event is. Weddings and Special Events are my passion, I want my clients to say, “I never could have done this without you.” We customize our packages to fit the client’s needs and budget. Each event is unique, whether it is planning a wedding or a themed event, we offer a full range of services, and present innovative ideas that are uniquely tailored. Our assistance includes everything from full planning, floral designs and table decor to entertainment and everything in between to transform an ordinary space into a breathtakingly beautiful experience. Event planning is not for everyone, but for me it is the job of a lifetime. I love what I do! As an event planner I get to explore my creative vision and see an idea turned into reality, from concept to execution. Showcasing my own creative talents and ideas to inspire others, which not everyone can say about their job! The ability to multitask and undertake numerous different roles is very important trait. In the space of a single day I could be checking out a new venue, meeting with clients and brainstorming ideas . No two events are the same and juggling multiple projects at once, planners do not have an average day.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have a few people that I definitely would like to recognize a big “shout out” to My husband my #1 fan and supporter along with my amazing family’s ongoing support and encouragement specially during the pandemic. From a business standpoint I am most thankful for the wonderful clients who have trusted me over the years with their special events. Not to mention all my amazing team of vendors they are the secret ingredient to very well executed events.
