We had the good fortune of connecting with Marianna Frances and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Marianna, have there been any changes in how you think about work-life balance?
I try to include my kids and husband in as many experiences as I can. I want to make sure as I grow professionally, they are there with me. The joy of being a mom lifestyle creator is that my boys can help me with creative projects, help grow ideas, and are there to expereince the journey.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have focused my content on all things I can do with my family, specifically with my boys. Something changed in me when I became a mom, and it gave me the confidence and drive to build a business around my family and our time together. As a first-time mom, I heard stories from other parents that didn’t know what to do to make the most of the moments they had at home with their kids between bathtime, meals, laundry…there was no time for fun. I felt the same way but used that to find ways to build magical moments and share those with other parents.
Parenting isn’t easy, building a business isn’t easy… but being able to work on both together has been a rewarding challenge for me.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I have found that local breweries are amazing locations to spend time with friends and family, as well as kids.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to dedicate this to the individuals who push me to grow out of my comfort zone and be bold. Surround yourself with people who can see your potential and encourage it.
