We had the good fortune of connecting with Mariia Yastremska and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Mariia, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
Be yourself and don’t compare yourself with anyone.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I start modeling when i was 17, and it’s not easy at all.Modeling is not an easy way for sure, especially if you starting in such a young age. There was a lot of challenges but the biggest one is: language, being apart from home, always keeping track on the shape to be perfect for photoshoots, not really having a personal life because i was traveling a lot. The most important is to make new goals in a career and look forward to them i will give you a lot of motivation.
But in general im very grateful for my way in career, im who i am because all of those challenges.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely take my friend to the boat and show Miami from the water, its amazing and super exited. I really like breakfast at “The Standard’ to enjoy the view and delicious food. Great places to visit for a nice dinner: Osaka, Uchi, Cipriani. Bellini in MC Hotel i can continue on and on, but this ones are the top in my list. Definitely do a workout class, i feel like in Miami everyone is working out.
Personally i like Sweat 440 classes. Also go to the beach in Key Biscayne i feel like its less crowded then Miami Beach.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would definitely say thank you for my mother agency Direct Model Management in Ukraine, they are the one who discover me and gave me the opportunity to have international contracts. And for last 3 years i wanna say thank you to my husband for all his support and love.
