We had the good fortune of connecting with Miranda Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Miranda, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
My favorite quote is “Our Deepest Fear” by Marianne Williamson, it’s quite lengthy, but its powerful and have had a tremendous impact on my life. Our Deepest Fear By Marianne Williamson “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness That most frightens us. We ask ourselves Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small Does not serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking So that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, As children do. We were born to make manifest The glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; It’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we’re liberated from our own fear, Our presence automatically liberates others.” There comes a point in our lives when we will discover that we have this light within us that makes us different and unique from others. Once God showed me my light, I begin to fear, the person that I would become. You see, it is scary to see yourself “becoming” who God created you to be, when your surroundings have not reached that peak. During these different seasons of my life, I learned to play it safe. It was much easier to blend in with everyone else than it was to stand out. Eventually, blending in started to drain me. It bothered me that I was not using my gifts to its full capacity. I stopped shrinking myself and playing it safe to accommodate other people’s insecurities and I walked boldly into my purpose by allowing God’s light to shine through me unapologetically. It’s a beautiful thing and God gets all of the glory!
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
The Miranda Wrights Company, LLC was founded in 2018, after I saw a need in the community for women struggling due to lack of knowledge. For almost 15 years, I have worked in a field where I have seen countless women struggle due to generational cycles. They cannot seem to break the cycles nor overcome the hardships of life due to past issues. The Miranda Wrights Company, LLC offers enrichment workshops, mentorship, coaching and in Winter 2021 will offer biblical counseling. Our main goal is for women to be healed, set free and delivered from their past. Our newly founded program is our Facing Her Freedom Walk: A Journey to Wholeness program. It’s a 30 day intensive program to help women to start the journey to facing their true authentic selves. The program consists of daily assignments, fasting, prayer, group and one-one counseling sessions. We launched the program in October 2020 and seven women graduated. The testimonies and the success of the program have been great. We are looking forward to starting the next class soon.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Favorite Spots: Palm Beach (The Beach) My husband and I, sometimes wake up early mornings and do sunrise prayer. Even though, there are many beaches in the area, I love the parking at this location.
Benny’s on the Beach in Lake Worth, Florida I absolutely love the scenery. The restaurant is literally on the beach and their couch fritters are amazing! Also, for a more laid back feel, Wing Plus in Lake Worth, Florida is great; Okay, I love wings!
Next, Massages at PGA National Spa, Anushka Spa or Eau Palm Beach Spa. I love massages. So, it would surely be a spa day. We can’t leave out shopping at the Palm Beach Outlet Mall, Palm Beach Gardens Mall, Saw Grass Mills or local boutiques.
A night on the town at the Improv Comedy Club. Laughter is always good!
Of course, we would have to end the trip with attending church!
I’m a plain Jane!
Nothing too extravagant, family cookouts will always be one of my best hangout spots.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
It would be selfish of me to say that I didn’t have any help along the way. First, I would like to recognize my husband, Fa’Darryl Wright. There were many times that I wanted to quit, but his prayers, encouragement and affirmations helped me to persevere through some difficult seasons. Also, I would like to recognize my spiritual mother, Ms. Rhonda Marie Phillips. Her spiritual guidance have helped me to see things clearer and from a different perspective. She is always ready and willing to tell me what the Bible says about my situation. She is amazing and I am so blessed to have her in my life.
