We had the good fortune of connecting with Montana Globerman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Montana, how do you think about risk?

Tap into what you really love and what moves you. That’s where your authenticity comes from and will make whatever you choose to do be successful, because it’s the real you. Try not to get caught up in what you think you “should be” based on what your peers are doing or what anyone may have wanted for you. After college, when it seemed like everyone else was getting an MBA, I got my Pilates certification, and started developing my love for teaching and movement. Fifteen years later, I’ve created my own workout method, and have a studio in Delray Beach and a digital studio with subscribers from around the world! When you’re in the thick of it, doubts creep in, and you wonder whether you should have played it safe. You have to dig really deep at times and always be your own biggest cheerleader, but man—it’s so worth it! There is no greater feeling than watching your dreams become reality.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

My creative outlet is through my art of movement. The Montana Method was born from all the different ways I’ve loved to move my body-m pilates, barre, yoga, dance, functional training etc. It is what makes me feel alive and tapped into my body and mind to be my best self. It most certainly has not been easy, but it has been absolutely amazing growing what I have created into what it is today. And now I have a team of instructors who believe in The Montana Method and want to bring the best to everyone who comes to take our classes.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would start with a class at The Montana Method of course! Then grab a smoothie from Wild Celery as we head to the beach for a little ocean therapy. After that we would stop by A Little Wyld boutique to see what fun new pieces came in to try on for myself or pick up something for my kids. Then we would go to Atha Yoga/ Thermae Delray to sit in the saunas. Ending with a delicious dinner at my favorite, The Grove Delray.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

My husband and children have been so supportive and understanding when I have to work – early mornings, late nights, weekends—and given me the space to expand as a business owner. Mom guilt is real, but showing my kids that following your dreams takes a lot of hard work and dedication is something I am proud of. I honestly couldn’t do it all without my husband who has stepped up in so many ways for me to be able to do what I love
