Meet Myrian Romero | Real Estate Agent/ Business Consultant

We had the good fortune of connecting with Myrian Romero and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Myrian, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
After more than 20 years building a solid career in the corporate world, moving to Miami was a deep shift.
We relocated as a family, supporting my husband’s new job, and decided to invest in a franchise our way of building long-term equity while creating jobs and solutions for the community.
But shortly after, that job was gone, the business was just starting… and I faced a defining question:
If I’m no longer what I used to do, then who am I now and how do I start over in a new country?
That was the true turning point. Starting a business wasn’t just a financial decision it was a decision about identity and purpose.
I chose to create something aligned with what truly drives me: learning, solving, adding value.
That led me to two paths:
First, helping Hispanic families and investors make informed and structured real estate decisions.
I guide them through the legal and financial framework, but more importantly, I listen deeply to their context, their needs, and where they stand so that the solutions we design feel personalized, supportive, and truly aligned with their goals.
In a market as complex as real estate, information is power, and my mission is to make sure they feel educated, protected, and empowered every step of the way.
Second, consulting with small businesses to help them organize their operations, improve profitability, and take steps toward long-term professionalization.
So, my thought process was this:
How do I turn all my experience into meaningful contribution?
How do I serve — not just sell? That’s where everything changed. And that mindset is still what guides me today.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My professional journey spans more than 23 years across corporate leadership, consulting, and entrepreneurship unified by a constant drive: the genuine desire to create value, solve meaningful problems, and support people in moments that matter.
I spent over two decades at Pepsi-Cola Venezuela, working across multiple areas of the value chain—including sales, marketing, commercial planning, and team development. For the final six years, I served as Innovation Project Manager, leading cross-functional teams to bring new products to market. That role offered a meaningful close to my corporate chapter, and provided a foundation that I continue to build on today.
After moving to Miami, my husband and I acquired a franchise of The Cleaning Authority, a national brand with proven systems and strong social impact. We chose this path because of its stability, values, and potential to generate positive outcomes. Today, over a decade later, our company provides reliable, consistent home cleaning services across Miami, offers dignified employment, and creates growth opportunities for the people behind our operation. It’s not just a business it’s a long-term project of building legacy, purpose, and contribution.
A personal turning point came early in my journey as an immigrant. Once I stepped away from the corporate world, I had to ask myself: if I was no longer what I used to do, then who was I now? That moment of reflection reshaped everything. I realized that what truly fulfills me is learning, solving problems, and creating value in ways that feel authentic and useful. This led me to start consulting and eventually guided me to real estate.
Today, as a real estate agent based in South Florida, I accompany families, investors, and international buyers with a consultative, human centered approach. I listen deeply, help clarify their goals, provide structure and legal insight, and work to design solutions that feel personalized, secure, and empowering. Especially for the Hispanic community, I believe information, clarity, and guidance can transform not only transactions but lives.
What I’m most proud of isn’t a number or a title. It’s that many of my clients refer me because they felt heard, supported, and truly guided. That kind of trust is earned through real connection not sales.
My brand is grounded in ethics, clarity, continuous learning, empathy, and a strong belief in value creation—not as a buzzword, but as a daily practice of service. What I want the world to know is that real estate is not just about properties—it’s about creating possibility, legacy, and freedom. And that’s a story I feel honored to be part

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love this question! Since you didn’t mention if my visitor would be traveling with kids or not, I’ll craft an itinerary that works for everyone a mix of curiosity, nature, culture, and the vibrant lifestyle that makes Miami so special.
We’d start the week at the Frost Science Museum, a place where people of all ages can be amazed and inspired. Then we’d slow down a bit with a visit to the Nader Museum, home to a stunning collection of works by Fernando Botero a beautiful space to connect with art on a deeper level.
To experience Miami’s natural beauty, I’d plan a morning walk along the Rickenbacker Causeway, with a stop at the new lookout for breathtaking views over the bay. Before reaching Key Biscayne Beach, we’d stop by Piononos, a local bakery that makes hands down the best pavlovas in Miami. After a relaxing beach day, we’d end with a sunset cocktail at Cleat Miami, a hidden gem with a laid-back vibe and unforgettable views. And for a cozy evening, I’d host a barbecue at home — my husband is known for making what many call the best BBQ in town.
We’d also spend a day at Oleta River State Park, a peaceful escape where you can walk scenic trails or go kayaking in calm bay waters — perfect to recharge and reconnect.
Of course, some iconic Miami experiences can’t be missed. A walk through South Pointe Park to catch a magical beach sunset, followed by a stop at 4D Gelateria for authentic Italian ice cream. We’d also stroll through Brickell at golden hour, near City Place, where the cafés and shops buzz with a New York-style energy, but with a uniquely Miami flavor.
And then there’s the food Miami’s culinary scene is as rich and diverse as its people. I love finding hidden gems, like Cotto Pizza in Doral, where the sourdough crust and Nutella calzone are unforgettable. A Peruvian dinner would definitely be on the list either at Suviche or Divino Ceviche, depending on the mood. And if we found ourselves in Coral Gables, we’d stop by Motek Café for a Mediterranean lunch after walking through the neighborhood’s tree-lined streets and lush garden tunnels.
Miami is a vibrant mosaic of cultures, flavors, and rhythms and I love sharing it as I experience it: from the heart, with attention to detail, and always in a way that creates lasting memories.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My journey hasn’t been a solo endeavor. Every step I’ve taken has been shaped by people, ideas, and communities that left a meaningful mark on me and helped me become who I am today.
On a personal level, my family is my greatest source of inspiration. Emigrating was a decision deeply connected to my desire to give my children real opportunities educational, human, and cultural. My greatest purpose is to leave them a legacy built on honesty, knowledge, and the conviction to always give their best. They inspire me to live with coherence and to act according to the values I hope to pass on.
Professionally, my mother is my greatest role model. A resilient single mother who, despite having limited opportunities to pursue education herself, instilled in my sisters and me the belief that education is a path to transformation. She taught us that we are not defined by our environment, and that dreams are not to be doubted they are to be built. In our home, values like honesty, effort, family unity, and the pursuit of knowledge were non-negotiable. Her example lives in every professional decision I make and in every challenge I face with determination.
I also find inspiration in Barbara Corcoran , her story reminds me that clarity of purpose can emerge even through fear and uncertainty if we are willing to act. Her way of building, serving authentically, and turning obstacles into strength aligns deeply with how I approach both business and life.
As a lifelong reader, a few books I’ve read recently have also had a profound impact on me:
Shoe Dog, for showing the vulnerability behind building a great business.
Money: Master the Game, for offering practical tools to build financial freedom with strategy and purpose.
Ninja Selling, because it reflects my philosophy of service with intention, building trust through relationships, deep listening, and value creation.
Finally, I’m deeply grateful to the Doral community, the place that welcomed me when I needed it most. It’s a safe, multicultural environment with strong educational values — a place that helped me adapt, expand my vision, and embrace the richness of the Hispanic diaspora. That experience was pivotal in allowing me to now guide others in their own journeys with empathy and clarity.
I’ve come to understand that what we receive in life must be given back — elevated. My story has been shaped by many hands, and my mission is to honor that by creating solutions, building trust, and adding meaningful value to those I serve.
