We had the good fortune of connecting with Nadiya Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nadiya, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
My brand wasn’t born from a business plan — it was born from real life.
In 2018, I went through breast cancer and a painful divorce — experiences that completely shifted my perspective. I had to choose between staying in survival or stepping into growth. I chose to understand myself deeply, to rebuild my self-worth, my femininity, my connection to my own body.

Along the way, I saw how many women felt the same — disconnected, ashamed to talk about their intimate health, unsure how to feel like themselves again. That’s when the idea for my brand was born. It’s built from my own experience and a genuine desire to support other women through something I know personally. Little by little, it grew from that place.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I run Feminine Revival, a private practice where I offer individual sex consultations and online courses in intimate fitness. My work helps women rebuild the connection between their pelvic floor and nervous system — improving intimate health, emotional balance, and self-confidence.

Over time, I realized that true transformation isn’t just physical — it’s mental, emotional, and deeply personal. That’s what led me to become a certified sexologist and dedicate my life to helping women reconnect with their bodies, pleasure, and inner sense of worth.

From this journey, I’m now launching Complice — a sexual wellness brand created from lived experience, not marketing trends. Complice is about coming home to yourself. It’s not clinical or overly polished — it’s sensual, natural, and deeply human. Every formula is designed to feel like an invitation: to slow down, to feel more, and to care for yourself in the most intimate ways.

It wasn’t easy. When I started in 2018, sexuality and intimate fitness were still heavily taboo. I was blocked on social media, told I couldn’t speak openly about these topics. I also didn’t know how to run a business — I made mistakes, trusted the wrong people, and had to learn everything from the ground up.

But I kept going. I followed the vision. And I learned that the most powerful thing you can do is stay true to what you know is needed — even when the world isn’t ready.

What I want the world to know is this: you’re not broken. Life doesn’t always go as planned — love ends, people disappoint, things fall apart. But that doesn’t mean something is wrong with you. There’s still joy, sensuality, and healing waiting for you. And Complice is here to remind you of that. It’s a method, a message, and a gentle return to the woman you’ve always been.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend were visiting, I’d create a week of beauty, good food, inspiration, and soulful moments. I’d definitely start with a night at the Orchard Hotel — one of my favorite places. The design is elegant but cozy, the food is always amazing, and they regularly host live jazz or vocal performances that give the night a little magic. I love everything about it — the ambiance, the rhythm, the way it makes you slow down and enjoy.

We’d spend a morning walking through Central Park with coffee and croissants, then maybe explore the Met or a smaller, hidden gallery downtown. I’d also take them to a rooftop bar with a view — somewhere quiet and sensual, like Westlight in Brooklyn or somewhere unexpected in the Lower East Side.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Absolutely. I want to dedicate my shoutout to all the incredible teachers, mentors, and schools I’ve had the honor to learn from throughout my journey. From the Federation of Intimate Gymnastics where I received my first certification in working with women and pelvic floor training, to ICST (Integrative Couple Sex Therapy) in California, and powerful teachings in Reiki, Qigong, NLP, and coaching — each experience moved me one step forward. And I’m endlessly grateful for that.

I also want to thank the women who trust me. Their vulnerability, their transformation — seeing their lives shift is what keeps me going. They are my biggest motivation and inspiration.

And I have to mention two books that changed everything for me: The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck, which helped me understand the deep connection between discipline, love, and spiritual growth — and Mating in Captivity by Esther Perel, which completely shifted how I view desire and emotional intimacy. Those books turned my world upside down — in the best way.
